We really loved our stay at Maple Grove Campground in Vermont! It’s a small, welcoming campground that seems to be mostly seasonal folks with a few overnight guests passing through, and it had such a friendly, relaxed vibe. As a full-time traveling family of five (plus a dog), we always appreciate when a campground feels kid-friendly. Our boys spent hours on the playground and loved the collection of Tonka trucks available for everyone to use. The rec room, while a little dated, was full of games and books we borrowed throughout our stay. The owner, Mike, was wonderful to work with, so helpful with the reservation process and generous with local recommendations. One highlight we’ll never forget was the sugar shack tour right up the road. It was an incredible experience, and a must-do if you’re staying here. If you’re looking for a small, family-friendly campground with genuine hospitality and a taste of local Vermont charm, Maple Grove is a great stop.

Nice small and quiet campground. Great location for exploring northern Vermont. Pleasant camp host and reasonably priced. Good power, WiFi, decent shower house and water pressure. Make sure you have 20 feet of sewer hose as some sites the sewer is further. Overall would highly recommend.

Our recent stay at Maple Grove Campground was most enjoyable. Got a site right next to our friends from North Carolina for the week. The owner, Mike, couldn't have been more accommodating. Plenty of room to spread out while at the campsite. We brought our own games, Cornhole and Kubb. However, we took advantage of activities close by: Slam T1D in Essex and the a day trip to see the wall murals in Shelborne, Canada to mention a couple! So much to do in Vermont. Thank you, Mike, for sharing your kindness with our out-of-state friends. So appreciated!

We were visiting friends in the area and camping for a week. We chose Maple Grove at random, but uncovered a hidden gem! Management is absolutely fabulous, the campground is very well maintained and location is convenient to Milton, St. Albans and southern Quebec day trips. Very fair prices on firewood and other supplies. Highly recommend, do not hesitate to camp here!

Great, quiet campground that's close enough to Stowe, Mt Mansfield area and Burlington for easy day trips but far enough away to be secluded, shady, quiet and in nature. Not much in terms of amenities, a family with kids may struggle, but for my husband and dogs this was great. Awesome owners who were very attentive and keep everything very clean and neat! We got a site with grey water hookup which I've never seen before but was very handy, could shower and do dishes as normal and then just visited the dump station on the way out. Grocery store down the street, Steeple market, was great! Only negative was some less than respectful neighbors who burned trash twice and had some loose dog incidents. The owner said he would take care of it and I don't doubt that he will! We will definitely be back!
