We really enjoyed our campsite here in early October. The price was reasonable and the site we were in was very spacious with full hookups. The location is great for lot of activities, hiking, and local restaurants. This is one of the best value stays we’ve had.

Great Campground, friendly staff, utilities worked well (sewer is on the higher side). Hands down their ice cream was my favorite part of my stay here. Creamy and great flavors.

This is the place the locals and Mainers know about. It’s the most peaceful and centrally located of the campgrounds. The sites are wooded, ice cream and breakfast bar on site. Reasonably priced and a fantastic staff. No pool or extra frills to pay for, just beautiful camping. We come every year in a 45 ft motorhome.

Campground was clean and well kept. Check in was easy. The campground is gated so only registered people are allowed in which is great. The ice cream shop on site was fantastic ! The homemade ice cream was delicious and very generous scoops! The only drawback we found all weekend was the showers - $2 for 4 minutes was a bit ridiculous - but the campsite fees were very reasonable so that makes up for it. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Great place! We been camping for many years, and this place is very well kept. Quiet, great crew of friendly campers. Clean, large spacious sites, the ones near the back are amazing surrounded by woods, private and level. Super close to all the great hikes nh has to offer. Price is incredibly reasonable for a quick get away. Homemade icecream a bonus! Brought our pups no issues!

This is my absolute favorite place to camp. We will continue to come here year after year. Thank you for the crew coming to check on us during the rain storm yesterday. Having a site by the river is amazing. And our friends at the ice cream store remember us and our dog (woody) which makes our trip up here. If I could handle camping in the winter I would totally make the trip here! Everyone is amazing and the sites on the river area perfect. Thank you for making camping amazing!

Inexpensive, clean, nice people, good homemade ice cream at the store. Nice private bathrooms with shower. Not fancy and too close to the road. Campground is fairly small.

We chose one of the tent spots along the river. It was a very well shaded spot under the canopy of trees and was beautiful to have the river right there in our back yard!!! The office staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. My only criticism is that the bathrooms and shower facility needs to be maintained and cleaned and kept up a little bit better.

Stopped to get ice cream. Delicious! I had the peppermint patty and the orange pineapple. They mixed the scoops for the small cone. Which was not all that small. There were bits of orange and pineapple. My husband got the black raspberry with hot fudge. I had a taste. So good!!
