I went to Margaritaville to eat at the Landshark. Worst experience ever. How can a restaurant mess up a burger. Both of the meat patties was still pink on the inside. The bacon was half cooked. I will never eat there again. The meat feel apart when I tookit off the bun. The patty taste like fake meat. Maybe it's shark meat

My kids loved it here! Lots to do I would definitely go back here. It's pretty cheap as well. Lines are short as well. Food was on the expensive side but it was good quality. Not like six flags where the food is garbage. It was also a clean place .

My three-night stay at the Legacy Lodge was a blend of positives and negatives. Pros: The property and island are absolutely breathtaking, offering plenty of activities, even in winter, that can keep you entertained for a week or more. The staff is generally friendly, and the arcade on-site was a major highlight for my kids, as we often had it to ourselves. Although the arcade games are a bit pricier than average, they are still reasonable. However, the costs for duck pin bowling, 3D games, and virtual axe throwing felt excessive for the experience provided. Cons: On our first night, the heating in our room malfunctioned. Despite notifying the front desk and being assured assistance was on the way, maintenance didn’t arrive until 8 AM the next morning, after I had waited up until almost 2 AM. The following day, we rented a golf cart to explore the island and attend the light show in the evening. Unfortunately, on our way back, the cart locked up completely. I made six calls to the front desk before they finally agreed to dispatch someone to assist us. During the first five calls, they suggested that I had driven out of bounds, despite being at attractions that should have been accessible. They insisted I keep trying and call back if I couldn’t make it. On the sixth call, I emphasized my need for help, particularly since I had small children and didn’t want to risk breaking down in heavy traffic. After a long wait in the cold, the staff arrived with a dismissive demeanor, and it wasn’t until they attempted to drive the cart that they recognized the issue was genuine. This delay caused us to miss a planned activity that evening. When we finally returned, the front desk manager joked, "Wasn't that fun?" The only consolation offered was a cookie and hot chocolate for the kids, with no mention of a discount for the golf cart rental. Complicating matters, I noticed I was charged twice on my checkout invoice, which needed to be resolved. While the winter attraction light show and snow mountain activities were enjoyable for my children, I felt they were overpriced, costing nearly $400 for our family of four (one adult and three children aged 16, 14, and 6). The restaurants we tried on the island—Game Changer in the arcade (three visits), Sidney’s in the lodge (one breakfast), and Bull Frogs in the lodge (one dinner)—served decent "bar food," but the prices were steep enough that we opted to leave the island for several meals. For example, during bingo night, I ordered two sodas and four slices of cake as a surprise for the kids, and the total exceeded $50 before tip. To avoid hurrying through checkout, we decided to stay an extra night. Although the front desk manager offered a discounted rate, I felt it should have been more significant, especially given that the lodge was quite empty and the challenges we faced during our stay. Despite accepting the discounted rate, I found that it wasn’t reflected in my final bill, which was yet another item I had to dispute. Overall: Would I return? Possibly. While there were several issues during my stay, the positive experiences outweighed the negatives. In the end, the joy of my children created priceless memories. However, I would carefully consider my options before returning, as I believe there are better value alternatives available. Throughout our three-night stay, I spent an amount comparable to a trip to Disney when considering accommodations, food, arcade, attractions, etc.

Holiday lights are a waste of time and money. It takes maybe 15mins to walk through the water park. The lights were cute but half of it is walking on the doc over the water with very minimal railing (was not very safe for my 3&4 year old). I wouldnt pay more than $10 a person to see this. Also has a very steep hill that is very hard to push a stroller up.

It used to be great. My wife and I visited years back, and it was an incredible experience! The lights were amazing, and driving through them felt like stepping into a magical winter wonderland. Plus, the charming little town you could stop and explore was a fantastic bonus, with food, drinks, and a cozy vibe. Fast forward to the last few years, though, and it’s been a major letdown. The lights are barely worth mentioning—just some bright bulbs with a few decent displays, but nothing that really wows you. Now, it feels more like a fair than a light show. There are carnival rides, which, don’t get me wrong, are fun—but if I wanted to ride those, I’d go to a fair, not a Christmas light display. To top it off, they’ve seriously overcharged for what you get. If they’re going to keep this going, they either need to completely revamp the lighting or just start fresh because, frankly, it’s the worst light show in Georgia.
