Spacious RV sites, many with full hook ups. A lot of sites have a steep grade and the recreation.gov website should not be relied on for accurate info about site slope. Be cautious about slope if you have a big rig. There are a lot of flat sites with long paved parking pads.

This campground is very clean. The showerhouse/restrooms on Deer Run looked to be fairly new. Only 2 loops were open when we camped here. The Deer Run Loop sites were spaced out nicely, and most sites had long driveways. Sites are easy to get into. We camped in site 34 on Deer Run. Hannibal is about 30 minutes away and offers Restaurants and plenty of attractions. If you are lucky enough, you will see some pretty amazing boats in the boat parking area.

We've stayed at the full hook up sites here a couple of times. The sites are relatively large, flat, and the paved road is great. It's kid friendly, has hiking trails, and is great for bikes. We love glamping here.

Was ok. Some of the sites weren’t very level and the bathrooms by our site were dirty and outdated. We went to the next sites bathrooms for showers because they were clean and updated. The beach was very nice and had a great time swimming and soaking in the rays. Overall a good experience but would prob find somewhere else next time. Makes me realize that my state of Michigan has the best campgrounds because they’re state funded and not private.

Very clean and we'll run campgrounds. Warm and friendly staff, but just too damned far to the lake accesses from within the parks. Definitely not for elderly, small kids or out of shape people. I'm in pretty decent shape and the walking path to the lake was very hazardous, long, steep at times, loose gravel and partially rotted stairs and guardrailing.

We camp either here or Indian creek, we love both places 😍 little less shade 😎 but in the fall it perfect when we get more sunlight.

We stayed for a week at the Ray Behrens campground. We stayed at site 113 in the Little Blue Stem area, we backed in and had full hook ups for $26 a night. We really enjoyed this campground. We had plenty of room between us and the next camper. Each site included a wooden picnic table and a fire pit. There was a large grass area between us and the next campsite and our camper was on an asphalt pad. The site we had in particular had a huge elevation slope from front to back and even at our most extreme settings we could not get our camper fully leveled. This was not a big issue, just something to keep in mind. Overall this was one of our favorite campgrounds we have stayed. There are deer throughout the property, be sure to drive slow especially during the evenings.

great campground. only negative thing I had was the showe house. it's too small and only has two showers. and the shower is so uncomfortable. it was clean the first day but the next day it wasn't cleaned. other than that it was a great experience.

Love it here! So beautiful! Love the improvements and the added full hook ups. Need more gate attendants, general public can drive through too much. Too much traffic.

Wet but otherwise we come here at least 4 times during the summer. We stay between 7,10 to 14 days at a time. Nice big sites and peacefull.
