Mark Twain/Marble Creek RV Park | Ironton, MO

Awesome campground. We were looking for a quiet place to stay near a river on our road trip. Very low traffic in mid August. Phenomenal! … maybe a 15 minute detour off the main roads got us out of the hub bub. Restrooms were clean and had TP. Minimal trash. We picked up a bag full walking around but we had to hunt for it, we’ll be back in 9 or 25 years

We went there to swim. It was an amazing little adventure. A good balance between shallow and deepish water. I will definitely go again

I've grown up here really, and it's just gotten better over time. The day use areas are perfect for a picnic, or an entire family get together, and I've done both plenty of times! The swimming hole by the dam is beautiful, though as a heads up, you'll probably see a water snake. The shut-ins are a great place to hop around and explore. Whoever maintains the bathrooms do a fantastic job!

This is a great campground with a fun shut ins to play in.  My only complaint is our site was full of trash from previous occupants.  It is disappointing both that campers make such a mess and that the park doesn't even clean it up.  Otherwise there are a few sites right on the creek,  most have plenty of room and good places to set up your tent.  Bring water as they have none.

Beautiful place, love the crystal clear water. Not too crowded during the week. Excellent camping options for only $10!

A peaceful and beautiful scenic area to explore.   The sound of the flowing water will relax you.   What a great place to visit to relax and de-stress.

Only the entrance is open. Campground and day use area are closed at this time. Please pack your trash out.

Very small but pretty USFS fee site campground and day use area along the creek.  Theres parking for the Ozark Trailhead that is actually across the street from the park entrance.

Very well kept and serene. Little side note...part of the movie Tammy with Melissa McCarthy was filmed here.

Nice campground. Clean bathrooms. Good sized sites. Marble Creek was a neat place to wander and collect rocks.

Small secluded park no electricity or cell signal so be prepared but great place to go hide for a weekend
