Maxie's is a nice campground. It is basic. Gravel is sites with full hookups, restrooms, showers, and laundry. Near a large community park and historic areas. What makes this special are the owners and the annuals. Pets welcome.

Best campground in Acadiana! Mr Jason Moresi, wife and son run a great campground for overnight or extended stay. Well kept, excellent washeteria as well as bathroom facilities. Excellent location for shopping, grocery and restaurants Walmart, Albertsons, Walgreens as well as restaurants and several healthclubs! No.1 Campground in my book! Kevin P

Maxie's campground is a gem nestled right off the HWY with convenient access to groceries, supplies, and more. The on-site laundry facility and bathhouse are well maintained and there is a park within walking distance. Jason is hardworking, friendly, and has a good team that keeps the property looking great. You can have packages delivered right to the campground and the prices are unbeatable. The neighborhood is safe and cozy. Highly recommend!

One of the nicest places I have stayed at in the 1 1/2 years that I have been traveling the US. The manager Jason was awesome & very helpful in finding me a mobile RV repair service for some of my issues. The shower rooms were clean & very spacious, the laundry room was clean & had plenty of machines... $4.00 to wash & $1.50 to dry. There is no designated dog walking area, but plenty of grass to walk them at the end of the park. Other than the traffic noise from the highway (it is right on HWY 90 East) it is a very quiet campground. AND very affordable at only $35.00 per night (as of 3/21/24) it is also just down the way from a Wal Mart, Albertsons & a Home Depot etc.

We only stayed at this campground for one night as were just passing though on our way to Texas. It’s a nice campground with laundry ($4 per load) and a bath house. There is a small stream/drainage ditch behind some of the sites. Jason, the owner, was very friendly and offered suggestions on things we could do in the area. There was a strong WiFi signal which we really appreciated. Our site had a large cement pad which was great. The only negative with this campground is the traffic noise from the highway but we just turned our fan on to drown out the noise and had no problem sleeping. (Jan. 2024)

We arrived 3 days ago only planning for a overnight stay. We were greeted by Brant and his customer service was so good we decided to stay longer. He allowed us to go through the site and choose wherever we preferred and allowed us to stay on the nice concrete pad adjacent the laundry and washrooms and gave us the Passport America rate. At $17.50 for full hook up and excellent washrooms and very high speed internet with the tower right next to us it was by far our best bang for the buck stay to date since we entered Texas from Mexico. We were a little concerned being close to the highway but in the evening the traffic died down considerably and once inside our unit ready for bed it wasn’t bad at all and we slept peacefully. Theres a Walmart Supermarket thats across the highway a couple blocks away which was convenient also. The Tabasco factory on Avery Island is close by this area also. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone else that passes through Broussard or Lafayette area.

I posted a review yesterday but don’t know what happened to it. I can’t say enough good things about this park. The owner is great and shows pride of ownership. We have stayed in some pretty run down parks on our trip but this one is the exception. NO moldy abandoned Rv’s and the property and no junk stored around the Rv’s either this property is well kept. Only downside is the traffic noise. Keep up the good work Jason!

Very reasonable $$ and owner is extremely courteous. Only drawback, close to highway. Some noise but not unbearable.

Awesome place. Only thing is it is close to highway 90. Besides that it is a well run place. Love it

Nice campground. Clean showers and bathrooms. Super easy entry / exit off Hwy 90. Owners are awesome. Great hospitality. Jason fit my and my brother-in-law’s rv’s in last minute evacuating from Ida. I would definitely recommend Maxie’s to anyone staying in the Lafayette area.

Had a wonderful week here. Jason was great and the park is in a perfect place to enjoy the Acadiana region. The facilities are well maintained, clean, and the laundry is full of top of the line washers and dryers. The wifi is the best we've had in our 3 years of coast to coast trips to dozens and dozens of rv parks! That says something. Jason does his best to make everyone feel welcome. The road noise never bothered us as it's only busy during rush hour. We loved it here so much we are planning on coming back and staying a month next year. Side note. Our cat loved it so much she wanted to walk daily, something she rarely does.
