Coming off from a 2 month camping trip where we stayed at mostly state parks, this one was just... ok. yes, they have working full hookups, but its basically a green field with gravel slots and medium wi-fi. (We're used to a little more space & privacy) If you fish they have 2 catch-and-release ponds. Bathrooms were clean, and the showers were hot. However, not a single hook, so they lost a half star, lol. At least the toilet seat had a cover I could put my things on top of that. Highway nearby but there were enough trees to muffle the sounds, mostly.

We just returned from camping at Mayberry campground and had so much fun...we went celebrating a friend's birthday. Super clean, and friendly. more dog poop stations would be nice, but we just carried it back to our site Always wanted to go to Mt.Airy, ..if you get to go, walk the streets, enjoy the town and ride the sherif car...what great memories we made...

Very well kept grounds. Great water pressure. Awesome camp store. The staff is very nice & helpful. Has a cute pond for fishing. Good views. We really like this RV park, would definitely come back.

Just left from three nights at Mayberry Campground. Super friendly staff, well maintained grounds and large sites. We were in site 83 with tons of privacy and right on the pond. Highway noise is a little loud back there but nothing crazy. The history at the campground and around Mount Airy make it a great little vacation spot.

We recently stayed at site 38. The site was good sized and deep enough to park truck in front of our fifth wheel. Only negative, was no picnic table. My husband enjoyed the ponds as he enjoys fishing. It's 15 minutes from Mt. Airy. Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful campground. Thanks for all you do.

Clean , Well kept Campground on the property owned by Eng and Chang Bunker ( Siamese Twins ). Its hard to believe that they settled in this area many years ago. The property is still owned by their descendants. Andy Griffith's hometown is very close by in Mount Airy, N C. There is a museum and many Mayberry attractions within walking distance of Main Street.

Spent 1 night here, big place, gravel sights, clean, has a great play area. Stores are 5 minutes away. I didn't like my site though as it was on a hill a bit and tuff to back into. Windy like crazy. Would try again but would definitely ask for a better site, more level. When here you have to go to Mayberry Andy Griffith home town. Fun downtown and nice folk.

Very nice campground, very friendly. Spaces are not on top of each other, easy to get in and out of and can accommodate the largest of rigs. Restrooms and laundry facilities were nice, they have some playgrounds and lakes for fishing. Being next to the interstate the noise wasn’t as bad as we thought it was going to be, we weren’t woke up at night. We survived Winter Storm Izzy 😂 (stayed 14 Jan - 17 Jan 2022) no issues with anything. They cover their hose pipes with a plastic barrel and have a work light inside as well. Our camper doesn’t have a cable hookup but we do have a powered antenna and once it finished scanning, we got 8 channels, the first thing to pop up was the Andy Griffith Show. We got a little chuckle out of that, wasn’t expecting that to be the first thing to pop up. We like Mt. Airy because of the Andy Griffith history but also because of Miss Angels Heavenly Pies. We spent over $50 on pies. Large, unique selection of pies and other scrumptious goodies. We will be back when it’s warmer so we can better take in more of the Andy Griffith sites.
