Took my kids in late April. Campground was clean and uncrowded. The River was not warm, but not freezing either. Kids loved it. At night, it got pretty windy, but we were told that is not normal. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. The camp staff and volunteers were all friendly and helpful. We will probably be back next year.

Mayflower Regional Park was a fun and relaxing place to visit with someone. I saw many teenagers camping and spending time by the Colorado River and the whole area felt clean and welcoming. The atmosphere felt calm and friendly with campfires, laughter, and the sound of water nearby. Teenagers would love how social and laid back it feels because it gives them a chance to enjoy nature without pressure. The service was helpful especially when checking in or asking about campsite options. The value was excellent with affordable camping and RV spots. The quality of the grounds and river access was high and everything felt safe and well managed. The selection of activities like camping, exploring, and relaxing by the water made it perfect for teenagers who enjoy the outdoors. I have only been there once before writing this review but it was one of the most refreshing places I have visited. I highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a chance to enjoy nature in a playful and peaceful way.

Camping Fun; The park is beautiful and well kept. Listening to the birds in the morning was my favorite along with watching the sun rise. Great park, friendly staff. Can’t wait for our next trip!

We love camping by a river, the Colorado in this case, and enjoy the comfort, simplicity and care taken with this small regional park in Blythe. The level of the river goes up/down with a scheduled released of water for agriculture. Birding is good in the park with lots of trees, along the rocky shore line and on the muddy edges of small island at a bend in the river.

It's a beautiful place with very nice and welcoming people. Tidy and clean, with showers and hookups etc. everything you need! But I've never in my life experienced such a massive amount of mosquitoes 🦟 and I live in Mexico and recently crossed the whole country along the coast...

This park campground is a prime example of a missed opportunity! The setting along the Colorado River is lovely, and it’s far enough from Interstate 10 that highway noise isn’t an issue at night. Unfortunately, the location’s potential is overshadowed by serious drawbacks. The mosquitoes were overwhelming, especially after sunset, making it nearly impossible to enjoy being outdoors. We booked a full hookup RV site, but the utility layout was awkward and hard to use. The water ran brown for several minutes, and even after extended flushing, it didn’t seem safe or advisable to use. The site itself was uneven, and the boundaries weren’t clearly marked, which made our after-dark arrival confusing and stressful. To top it off, the staff member at the entrance kiosk the next morning was curt and unsympathetic. Given all this—and the relatively high price for a county park—we left disappointed. We would not return unless major improvements are made.

The mosquitos are just down right relentless — even with 40% DEET. Truly put a damper on an otherwise beautiful park.

We were right at the Colorado River. There is plenty of space for parties and staying in the RV and fishing.

Beautiful park that is taken care of by staff. Clean restrooms and just an amazing experience overall. All the staff I talked to were welcoming and patient, heard and answered all the questions I had. I do wish there was some sort of weekly rate at this park so had to knock off a star for that.

Nice quiet RV Campground in a beautiful setting where the staff and the guests were great. The staff was very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. They were a couple of days where farmland on the Arizona side of the river was being burned and the smoke drifted over. No idea how often this occurs but I witnessed it on 3 different occasions. Can’t blame the Park for this but it is something to be aware of if you are sensitive to air quality.

This place is a hidden gem. So many friendly people. Beautiful view of the Colorado River. Nice shower's with descent water pressure. We were in the RV hookup area C. They have a sewer dump station that's really easy to maneuver and get to. Sites include water and power. We really had a great time. The nice lady at the front desk was really helpful. They have a small shop at check-in for sundries and such that seemed reasonably priced. We will be back

We really liked this campground, very clean, close to the Colorado River. It's all green, the sites are spacious. The staff is friendly. The bathrooms are super clean and have free hot showers. We will definitely return depending on the season.
