The pictures are very deceiving! This is a VERY tiny campground with spaces very close together in a very weird & run-down location. It's a great deal for $20, but I left & drove a few more minutes to a $40 spot bc I just didn't feel comfortable.

Full hook up even in January for $20 cash honor system. Very quiet except for the 4am train (not the campground's fault). Single shower and toilet adjacent to the school, press the handicap button to open the laundry and bring your own soap for the bathroom sink and quarters for shower. RV spots are level and made of gravel. There appear to be some full timers here on the north side of the campground, but at least 8 sites available when we arrived 1/2/24. Bar is within walking distance. Small wooden playground across the street.

This place really saved us a few months ago! We were on a cross country road trip to our new home and couldn't make it to our next stop as it was getting late and we were so tired. I found this place randomly online and Ricky was the nicest man and ready to help us out. The park was clean and quiet. Ricky really saved us that night and we are forever grateful to him!

Second time staying here and we enjoy it. The small town feel. Michelle's restaurant. This is a nice quiet place. A train goes through once in a while, but that adds to the ambiance of it all. The gentleman that runs the place is the nicest man you'll ever meet! Please take a chance and visit if you can. It is 45 minutes from Kansas City, but that's a good thing..

We stayed 2 nights here in a class A towing. No frills, laid back, industrial area close however they have a community garden, yours to pick from and hoops, other playground equipment as well. Downtown is a bit of a haul but great restaurants, Truman Library and then head back to the quiet of Mayview. The owner could not have been nicer. Great price!

Such a sweet place. Exactly what we needed. We met some great people in our week there. The town is very small which I really enjoyed. If you don't like trains then not the place for you. I enjoyed hearing the train. With a town of only 212 people was just what I needed after such a long travel and still so much more to do.

Great over night spot for us headed home from out west. $20 honor system pay. And they have a community garden we got to pick veggies in . All organic grown but the RV host. Thanks for a great stay our family enjoyed it very much.

I am here each year for June, July and August . 2021 has been the best year by far ! The manager (Lilly) Is a very nice lady that is dedicated to the park ! It seems she has full control over this park and does a great job ! I just hope the board compensates gets well !

Mayview is a great place I love the RV Park we came to stay because all we had is a pop up and we didn't want to be in the city needed to be close enough to get to work but we didn't want to be in the city at all anymore we didn't want an apartment and we didn't want to rent a house or whatever we just wanted to have something that was ours and mayview gave us a spot to put our pop-up camper for reasonable price that also had the amenities that are pop-up camper doesn't have if it wasn't for their little pantry we would not have eaten for a couple of days our neighbors are great so far everyone I've met there I like it's peaceful it's quiet although there are bobcats and coyotes out there doesn't bother me but in my others overall I have to say mayview is a great place if you're trying to get away from the city and have peace and quiet and be around decent people thank you mayview for what you have given us

Really enjoyed staying in Mayview where I was born and raised.. met someone that was at the park that i hadn't seen in a long while. Met several new people. Very clean place. Not to far from the mayview store..... bar ..... or the cafe. All great people
