Had a lovely time while at here. Great trails lil slippery but made it through trail three and four. Wanted to climb the tower but it was locked when I arrived there.

I had heard good things about McCormick's Creek a long time ago, but just got around to visiting. Glad I finally did! It's a beautiful place and a well-maintained park. Lots of trails with a range of difficulties, from paved and relatively flat to rocky and fording the creek. The Canyon Inn is beautiful. Staff around the park are friendly and super helpful. Playgrounds and picnic areas are nice. The falls themselves are beautiful, and the biodiversity of plant species throughout the woods is amazing. Many wildflowers in spring!

Beautiful state park and is one of our favorites. The devastation of the tornado two years ago is still very evident on some of the hiking trials. I would highly recommend visiting this park.

Beautiful in winter. Stalagmites and stalagtites of ice form, creating a specticle of glistening sparkle as the sun hits them with its rays. It is slicker than a greased pig out there tho, so be careful, or you will be doing the Fred Flintstone.

This is Indiana's second oldest state park. It is beautiful. It has a wonderful inn and a great campground. A year after the tornado of May 2023 hit in that area they still have about half of their trails closed. Just this week they opened up the trail to go to Wolf cave. You can only go one way though and then have to go back around. Because of that it's about a 2-hour hike.
