Close to Cooperstown, lovely owner. Clean pool. Deck could use some updating. We were there during the week and was nice and quiet.

If you are looking for a quiet camping experience with very friendly people this is it. This was our first stay and we enjoyed it very much, we were in a nice open field with several other campers but spaced far enough apart where you didn’t feel the least bit crowded. The wifi was perfect and strong as there were some rainy moments where having the wifi was nice. There was no septic at the site we’d chosen, they did come clear out the tanks for $40, so it was still no issue. No problems with water or electric hook up or running ac. Showers and bathrooms were clean as was the laundry area. The pool water was cool, clean and plenty of chairs around the pool. The roadway was a little bumpy but on the plus side it makes people obey the speed limit so it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Owner is extremely nice, so were the seasonal people. Overall very nice experience.

Great weekend at Meadowvale, Water and Electricity hookup at each site. The basketball court is usable but could use the pad widened, pool is old but fine, the roads have low branches and big branches scrape the roof. It was overall a great experience with friendly people. Would love to see a new sign out front or weeds trimmed as the road weeds block the sign, you can tell this place has been here for a long time, but hasn’t had many upgrades. I would come back, it was peaceful and had everything you need.

Had an absolutely amazing weekend stay at this campground, and I would highly recommend it to everybody and anybody. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was well-kept, comfortable, and had many amenities- such as a fridge, microwave, and stove. The bathrooms are newly renovated and never messy, and there are multiple bathrooms on the premise. The owner, Matt, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and there are many activities to do on site for all ages, such as paddle boating, kayaking (which are available upon rental), fishing, a playground, a pavilion with pool tables/arcade games, and an outdoor pool. Matt does a great job at making sure guests are having the best time- as there’s live music and events frequently. We were there for “Christmas in July” which was a blast, and we also heard they do cardboard boat races, among other things on various weekends throughout the year. We were fortunate to have friendly and inviting neighbors during our stay, yet everyone we met at the campsite was very nice and welcoming; both season and non-seasonal campers. This is a hidden gem in upstate New York, and I will definitely be returning in the future!

Most modern campgrounds are more like parking lots. No space between trailers. This place is not like that. It’s more like a real camp ground. However it’s getting pretty run down. And the owner/operator doesn’t know how to handle problems. He listens to his seasonal campers but never addresses the reported problem with the weekend campers. Sometimes what is reported is not exactly as reported. Matt needs to grow a set and talk to all parties involved when a “problem” is reported.
