I spent about a month and a half here. The grounds were clean, the other residence were nice and quiet. The management was easy to get a hold of. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the great hospitality.

I feel the need to correct some of the false advertising in the description. First the park does not have showers, laundry facilities, covered sites, or pull-throughs. I'm not sure why those are listed as it's just not true. Also, the Wifi is spotty and the cable requires a cable box which you have to lease from the office. Finally, the description of local attractions is overblown (if not plain dishonest). Galveston beach is not in "close proximity", it is over an hour away, as is San Luis Pass. Brazos Bend (the closest state park) is close to an hour away, as are George Observatory, and Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge Discovery Center. The Haak Winery and Crocodile Encounter are both over half hour away. There are much closer RV parks to all those locations. Those "attractions" that are actually nearby are much smaller. For example, the golf course is nothing to write home about and the hike and bike trail is just a paved trail that follows a drainage ditch a couple miles from the city's main park to a much smaller one. Alvin is not a bad city, but it's just a small town near the suburbs of Houston. Sorry for posting so much, but it really bothers me when a business is deceptive and dishonest. These people don't deserve your money or support.

Also, I'd like to point out that the 4 star review below is obviously a fake. "The amenities were nice" - there are no amenities at this park. There's no club house, pool, playground, or even public showers or restrooms. The only amenity you could say they offer is Wifi, which in our experience was spotty and hard to connect too. (That reviewer says they didn't try the Wifi.) Also the park is not "in the meadows" or surrounded by "open land that outstretches for miles". It is right next to two fairly major roads for the city. (Granted, the city is not a huge one, but the roads are not quiet.) Finally, you'll notice that the review is posted by a Facebook group, and not a real person. I think it's dishonest and cheap when businesses post fake reviews, and it's just another reason you shouldn't stay here.

This is a horrible RV park. I would give it negative stars if I could. The owner is one of the most despicable people you will ever meet. They will be nice to you when you first inquire about a space, but after they have your money, they will be as rude as anyone can be and treat you like you don't matter. They are racist too. The old lady/owner referred to the middle-aged African-American man who was working for her as "that colored boy". (His name is Lawrence, and he is actually a very nice person.) The grounds are kept up decently, but overall a horrible place. Stay away from this one!

Oh it’s really nice to camp in the meadows. Just open land that outstretches for miles and an array of camp sites that will fit any kind of rig. When we pulled up we were thrilled on how many sites we had to choose for our big rig. The amenities were nice, so were the utilities. I liked seeing everything clean despite being at a campground. I liked the layout of this park that really make it to where you can find everything with ease. Everything was so calm and peaceful and my whole family had a great time here. We didn’t check the wifi as that wasn’t on our minds, but we did investigate everything else and it was great. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
