We love everything about this cabin! It is very clean with all modern conveniences and at the same time it has a warm and cozy feel with lovely quilts, pine walls, and a comfortable bed. The hosts are friendly and went out of their way to make sure of our comfort. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit family in Meadows of Dan!

Very good, could be great. Location and local attractions are fantastic! Blue Ridge Parkway, Chateau Morrisette and other local wineries, local stores and restaurants within a few minutes. Camp sites are mostly nice, albeit a bit close to neighboring campers and some sites a little small. Very large rvs might have issues finding a site to accommodate them. A few signs pointing out the various site #s would be helpful.

The manager and her husband are terrific. They are very helpful and accommodating. The sites are clean with wooded space between most sites. We highly recommend this campground. Please do not make any major changes.

We’ve done a lot of dispersing camping and campgrounds, but this place was absolutely amazing!! Candice (hope I spelled that right) was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. We had been traveling for awhile and ran into several “glitches” that comes with it but had to find a place last minute close to dark in pouring rain and she was so helpful. We were just gonna stay one night just to sleep and keep going but decided to get a cabin (we had 2 dogs as well) and we loved it so much we stayed 2 days. The entire campground was so well kept, clean beautiful and even if it was packed there was so much room. We will definitely be visiting there again can’t say enough good things about this campsite. If you don’t know it or check it out, you’re missing out.

Had a great experience here. Campground was quiet and bathhouse was cleanest I have ever seen and the hot water was HOT! Took several attempts and messages to get a hold of someone, but once we did, Carleen was great! I highly recommend staying here. Next time we are in the area, this is where we are staying!

Meadows of Dan campground is a good central location to explore what the area has to offer. Minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway, Nancy’s Candy, and Mabry Mill. Quaint stores nearby fill most of your needs such as firewood, gas, and groceries. They have full hookup at every RV site and the campground is quiet and clean. I was concerned at the lack of a reservation “system” or presence online but had no issues. It is a family run, small operation with a caring heart. We will be back.

This campground is wonderful. Don't be discouraged if you call and don't get an answer. Leave a message. It's not a huge campground and there's not much for kids to do on the grounds but if you just want to relax at your campsite and enjoy the scenery, this place is a must. People ( Employees and campers) are so nice and respectful. The lady who manages the campground is great. Most sites have sewer in addition to electricity and water. Each campsite has a trashcan and they come around and empty it everyday. We will be back.
