Beautiful location that sadly is not maintained by the forest service. Bathrooms that haven't been serviced in so long you have to hold your breath, picnic tables that haven't been treated or painted in years if not decades. But enough time on their hands to drop a nasty gram on your car if you dare spend 20 minutes at the beach after checking out of your campsite

Beautiful, quiet, secluded. Worth the time it takes to get there.

A nice area to camp. Did not like the 4-wheelers and side-by-sides going til 11 at night! Lake is beautiful!

There are two bald eagles that live there! Beautiful to see

Not very well maintained. Tree stumps everywhere. Toilet by our campsite smelled. Lake was nice but unimpressive. All in all, not worth the drive.

Good campsites. Water was turned off because of Covid. Bathrooms were clean. Good Fire rings. This place could really use a camp host to keep the generators from running all night long and the ATV crowd at a reasonable speed. Lake was awesome! Tons of free firewood along the entrance road. Too many ATV / SxS /dirt bikes riding around all the time kicking up tons of dust for my liking. Not bad for mosquitoes on 7/12/20

Access to the reservoir is convenient, but there is very little shade or privacy compared to some very nice dispersed campsites scattered generously throughout the surrounding area. In my opinion, the only selling points of this campground is the access to potable water, a vault toilet (yay) and flat, level spaces if you're in a RV or sprinter. As a tent camper, I would check the dispersed availability before getting a site here.

The view was awesome, snow peaks in August. Fishing want good but we had fun!!

'Twas a great place for camping. It may just be when I went, but it was nowhere even close to crowded. Be aware that there is zero cell service here, but that made it all the better to me. Beautiful landscape and a great place to unwind.
