We had a fantastic weekend in the cabins at Medicine Creek. Booking was easy and I was thrilled to see that the cabins were as nice as the photos look. We came in late September and the weather was gorgeous. Cabins: very clean and had a ton of linens and kitchen supplies. Having a fridge, microwave, and oven/stove was so helpful. Bathroom was great, water pressure was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and there are three AC units to ensure a comfy temperature. Outside: the back porch is huge and has a big table and chairs, there is also a big picnic table down near the fire pit. We used the fire pit and charcoal grill easily throughout the weekend. The view was incredible. Grounds: everyone was quiet and respectful. There were no noise issues. Amenities: this is the only thing to keep in mind - it is challenging to find anything you need nearby. Grocery shop before you come and bring your own wood (in state). It’s very remote. We absolutely plan to return - this place is stunning.

Overall a very nice campground. We had an electric-only site. There are a few different loops, and one is much quieter than others. Heavily shaded, and neat little disc golf course, decent bathrooms. There is Wi-Fi, but it's spotty at best. Love the mature trees and great shade.

I could give it less or more stars but we love this state Park so I'll go with 4. We stayed in a cabin instead of tent camping this year. Cabin #2 was clean and stocked with everything you need. It was quiet for the most part. We got to see so much wildlife just from our cabin deck! We ventured around the lake as we sometimes do but went much further this time in hopes of visiting campsites past but many roads are not kept up or passable at all and it's disheartening. As others have stated, the playgrounds are outdated as well but we didn't use those. We fished in a few different areas which were nice but we lost out on quite a few spots bank fishing due to not being able to use the roads. The outhouses are always super clean here and the grounds are mowed and kept up so well.

Beautiful park.We stayed in cabin #1. I added pics of inside because there are not many. There is no TV and beds are hard. But other than that a great place. Hope the pics help.
