Camped here for a week, great spot, clean camp ground, one great thing is that they pick up your trash daily. The views from the water front are stunning, to your left is Indian island light house, North & South Haven islands straight ahead. We were away from the road so pretty quite. Would definitely stay here again!

Solid 4.5... We loved our stay here. The ocean view is awesome and the onshore breeze kept us cool during a heatwave. The site lengths were a tad short but worked. Staff was pleasant and helpful. You pay for internet here. Our T-mobile cell signal was 4G and decent. Everyone adhered to the lights out quiet time which was wonderful. This is a nice quiet getaway that's close to Camden for shopping and site seeing. We'll be back for sure.

I’m genuinely shocked by the amount of good reviews this campground has… It is SO close to Rt 1 and all you can hear day and night is traffic. Our site is the furthest thing from level and they placed the fire pit just about in middle of the site so the options for adjusting your camper are slim to none. There’s someone working at the store/office until 5 each day and someone who picks up trash at 9 each day but other than that we never saw any staff checking on the campground. As a result of that, cars absolutely FLY around the roads. We saw multiple people doing 15+ mph through this tiny campground, kids and dogs everywhere. Major heads up on the disgusting showers. One was decent, but another one had a mold covered shower curtain that had clearly been like for a very long time and was ignored by staff. The only plus sides of this place is the gorgeous ocean view and sitting area at the end, and the pool was decent as well. Maybe some people don’t mind the traffic but it is certainly all but relaxing when camping and the people speeding through the campground was a huge negative for us and we would never return.

Sea Swell Megunticook Camp Ground is the perfect location for an easy going camping experience. This location has a swimming pool, showers and toilets, and a laundry room, so you’re not entirely off grid. With a “dining area” over-looking the ocean, you couldn’t ask for a better coastal Maine camping experience. I’ve been here a few times, and plan to come quite a few more!

This camping site may be small, but it definitely has its perks! I loved the full bathrooms and private showers—such a nice touch! It's conveniently located near local towns with delicious food options. We even visited a nearby fishery and picked up some fresh lobster. I will say that camping on the ground isn't the best due to the location, and while the cabins are a bit pricey, they're really nice! Overall, I'm looking forward to staying with friends in the lower cabins, cooking together, and soaking in the beautiful views of the lake!
