This is a good campground to stay by the ocean. The campsites aren't right on the water but you can take a short walk downhill to a beautiful spot to sit a spell. Cell service was not great on camping spots downhill, but closer to the office it was okay. On Saturday nights, weather permitting, they offer a fee based lobster dinner by the water, which is very nice if you don't want to steam lobster yourself.

Wonderful clean campground. Cabin was a great size. Definitely recommend bringing good pillows and blankets. We loved walking down to the outdoor deck by the sea. Pretty steep walk down though so it was a bit rough going back up. Pack some good sneakers or hiking boots, wouldn't recommend walking down there with sandals. Great location! Only a short 10 minute drive to Rockland harbor and the breakwater lighthouse. We will definitely be returning next year!

I’ll start with the positives: The ocean view is unbeatable! The staff was really nice and helpful, we had an issue with a neighboring camper with a dog that barked all day and night and they handled it quickly! The bathrooms/showers were clean, the pool was nice and the kids enjoyed the playground. The campground is only a few minute drive from downtown Camden which was a cute little town that was fun to explore. Negatives-We were extremely disappointed with our tent site #84 which we chose because on the map it looks pretty far from the surrounding sites when in fact 85, 84, 83 and 82 are all on top of each other. We were able to fit 2 tents on the site luckily as you can see in the picture but you’ll notice how close the campfire to the site next to us is. And we barely fit our truck in the small parking between two trees though. The other big negative was the bathrooms were all the way across the campsite which is terrible when you have a long walk in the middle of the night with your 4 year old who needs to use the bathroom. The campground was in a great area but everyone was too close together for our liking. If you’re tenting, try and get site 48, right next to the brook. It has a lot of space and isn’t on top of any other campsite.

We really enjoyed this small, scenic campground on Maine's midcoast. It doesn't have a ton of amenities but has a beautiful viewpoint of the water and cliffs with tables and chairs to hang out and watch the sunset or do some grilling. We didn't use the pool but our kids did use the little playground area. The camp store is cute and has cocktails, souvenirs, firewood, and an area with games to use or sign out. The only downside is that it is on a busy road--fortunately our campsite was set back pretty far into the trees.

This is the second time we have gone to this campsite and it is very nice. The bath house is super clean and there’s a club house to or books and DVDs if you’d like. This campground can handle tent and camper camping - this time we stayed in a cabin down by the water. We walked down to the seating area by the water and it was so pretty. There are places to sit there and you can walk on some paths to get great views of the water.
