Very handy, quiet, and first come first serve. Toilets, showers, water and sewer (not at each site) electric and honor system payment. Playground for the kids...

The shower room was only ok. I showered with 3 spiders. Wish it was cleaner. Otherwise, the campsite was nice.

I camped here one night in a car. It was beautiful and peaceful and I had a nice walk around the park. I could not find any showers, but the bathrooms were nice.

Nice little campground on the south side of Aberdeen. Tennis, roller blading, frisbee golf, and close to Northern University.

My brother and I needed an overnight campsite and found Melgaard Park online. What a great stop! Clean facilities (hot water/good water pressure for a shower is always a bonus on the road!), it was quiet, safe and close to everything we needed during our stay. The rate was extremely reasonable. $32 included electricity, gray & black water dump and a potable water fill. Very nice, small campground ~ I would stay again if I'm through Aberdeen in the future!
