We used to love to come to this campground years ago when they maintained it better. The beach was the best part, always raked am and pm- now there’s weeds, acorns, sticks, lake gunk and trash blowing around. The little store is never open for treats/ equipment rentals. The safety ring is teethered and worn and broken and was in the wood before we put it where it should be. Poison ivy surrounding the weathered playgrounds. Seems like the new owners don’t care to help it thrive and or at least maintain it to be the same. There are no cute events like craft nights for kids or sandcastles on sunday’s anymore. We used to be proud and love to visit here, now it’s embarrassing and not a place I will recd to my friends unless things change!

The Midlife Travelers

This is my favorite time to come to what is now Hunter's Run. I've been coming for years and since the name change and new owners I actually like it a lot more. The staff is friendly and there are a lot less rules. Don't get me wrong rules are good and now there seems to be a good balance. I don't want to go to far into the past but previous owners used to drive around in golf carts yelling at people about mondain happenings in their spots... This time of year is great because school hasn't let out and there are few people visiting and makes you feel like you have the "resort" to yourself. We did go for a quick swim. I understand that the pool isn't heated this year but it was nice during the 2 hot days during our stay. We love using the free kayak rentals. And the park looks more maintained then it has in years. Looking forward to our next visit. This is a great hidden gem don't over look!

Just rolled in for this season. The new sign looks nice. I am glad it was updated. Went to the front desk to check in and swap out cards, etc. Kim and her husband were manning the front and always a pleasure. The hot tub is not running but I knew last year they would be remodeling. I am looking forward to seeing the new look. Looking forward to a fun season! I want to thank Katie the GM for always being transparent and keeping us in the loop.

For those of you that have been coming for years. The pool is no longer heated and is too cold to swim in. Hot tub is broken and unusable. We come here to use the indoors since it is early in the year. They are planning on tearing down the building and putting in an outdoor pool. Sites are large but not taken care of. Large branches everywhere and fire pit not cleaned out. Had to clean the site to make it usable.No one on site for emergencies. Front desk person was rude and condescending. My 20 year tradition has just come to an end. Will not recommend again. No longer worth the money.

we have frequented now Hunter’s run previously Clearwater for many years. This past year I absolutely have no complaints. The staff both office manager and maintenance have been nothing but helpful. They are friendly, considerate, and willing to help anyone. They are professional and courteous.

First time staying here and it was lovely. The sites are huge. The next-door neighbor that was staying in their cabin was super nice, friendly & offered us some of his wood. They also have the cleanest bathrooms I have come across while camping. I can't wait to go back!

We explored the camp grounds and it was very nice. We really like that it was spacious between campers and not on top of each other. We put an application in and hope we we are offered a spot.

We loved it! Definitely will go back. Large sites, fireplaces made out of rocks, small metal garage pails, nice picnic tables at every site and very quiet and peaceful! Staff was awesome and helpful. Clean, quiet country camping ❤️

We have been camping across the street to their other campground Clear Lake. Bug this year I purchased a larger RV that would not fit. So the friendly girl on the phone suggested Meredith Woods. Much larger sites and much more separation between sites. Will definitely return next year. Dog run was perfect too.
