Cable and Marie are absolutely wonderful people, and they run a beautiful campground thats upgrading its wonderful grounds. The store is a gem, lots of cool things including a turtle that's almost as old as I am! Pool, dog parks and walk, bathroom and laundry, tetherball, game room, and fire pits. Quiet, good spots, and friendly people, definitely recommend stopping here on the way through.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Stay at Meridian KOA We truly enjoyed our time at the Meridian KOA. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The campground is clean, peaceful, and beautifully kept, with plenty of space and shade to relax after a long day of travel. The staff were so kind and helpful, always making sure we had what we needed. The little touches around the grounds, like the planters and inviting seating areas, made it feel cozy and cared for. The pool area was bright and cheerful, perfect for winding down on a sunny afternoon. This KOA felt more like a community than just a stop along the road, and it left us with such a positive impression. We’re grateful for the hospitality and will happily stay here again the next time we’re passing through.

We stayed in this park in late March of this year. It is absolutely delightful with a great rustic and wooded setting. Our 3 star review is because we accidentally left our Dica leveler pads on the site when we left. Yes, it was our fault for sure however they did promise they would keep them for us until we could retrieve them. Sadly, they now cannot locate them now. 😔😔😔

Giving it 5 stars due to the site we had on the end and the corner. It does slope a bit so we had to use two legos on the one side which made our steps a bit high. However an overnight we were good. Lots of trees very woodsy feeling is you are going for that. Over all decent place and nice workers. No escort which isn’t a big deal but it was a little confusing going around with all the roads. But no biggie we did fine. It did rain so we didn’t get to enjoy the whole site but it would definitely be nice for a campfire. #rvnewadventures

An excellent campground. I lived here for nearly 10 months in my camper. During this time new management has completely renovated much of the site adding a really nice pool, revamping the game room, and generally improving the buildings. My four kids loved to run around the grounds and play at the playground. If you are looking for a great spot to pull in for the night, or kick back for a few days, this is worth the look.

Stopped for an overnight stay at this comfy KOA while motorcycle travelling with my dog. My first time at a KOA and I couldn't have been more pleased. Steve, Patty and Angela were so friendly and helpful. Steve even brought the firewood I purchased at the store right to my cabin. We stayed in one of the little camping cabins and it was perfect. The bathrooms were super clean with four showers and the pool was a beautiful blue and all very close to my site. It was a great KOA experience and we cant wait to visit more on our travels.

This was a nice place we only spent a night when traveling but it was friendly and quiet. Price was good. We had a restful night. No problems.

I've been a KOA member since 2011 and have stayed at 40 KOA's across America and Canada. I’ve always found KOA's to be full of compassionate people who treat visitors like family. I'm terribly saddened that was not the experience I had here. I reserved a site for 3 days for my sister who was escaping Hurricane Irma 13 hours away. The first portion of that trip took 12 hours instead of 4. The fist night of their reservation they were only able to make it to Destin FL. I called the KOA at 8am that day and told them to please let another evacuee use the site for the night because she couldn't reach Toombusa till the 2nd day of the reservation. They called me back at 9 pm the same day to ask if she were coming. I again told them I called and spoke with a man in the morning and asked him to give the site to another evacuee, they said it was too late and they were closing up. The following day my sister realized that making it to this KOA would not happen. She called the KOA to tell them at 2pm. My sister stated "I tried reasoning with them on the phone they want to charge you for two nights even though they're going to rent my RV site away for tonight and tomorrow and make double money. that's 38.52 x2. I told him that's unfair and where is your compassion for evacuation victims. He said he is being generous by giving me one day back" We asked if our charge could pay for another evacuee's site and the KOA refused. This isn't about the money. I'd be happy to have my money go towards helping someone. I'm not happy to have my money taken as a formality and help unethical people profit off of hurricane evacuees. My sister found a site in Pace FL and wrote this. "Such a big difference here. Everyone, all 100 of us, are staying here for free and there are free meals, wifi, hookups, and a community center with the weather channel" I'm so glad my sister didn't drive the additional 4 hours to this KOA. I don't have any confidence that she would have been treated with care or respect. The statement she made about the Pace RV site is the kind of thing I expected to be said about a KOA. A few years back I went out of my way to watch a show I never watch. It was the program Undercover Boss. I only watched it because it was a KOA episode and I'm such a huge KOA fan I wanted to see it. I keep thinking that the CEO would be so disappointed by this. This behavior isn't what KOA stands for. I'm always raving about our road trips and how great KOA's are. That's why I booked one for my sister. I'm really disheartened by this experience.

Easy to get to off I-40 with our 24' TT. Might be a bit tricky with a larger TT or MH. Woodsy sites, some are a bit tight, but most very roomy. Over Air TV is not good. Noted many long term RVs have Sat TV. Wi-Fi is pretty good but not enough bandwidth for streaming movies. Bathrooms are OK, old but clean. Shower stalls are single unit inserts (like what you might have at home). If you're an early riser it'll take some time for the hot water to reach the shower head. Shower heads (in Mens Room) were differend in each of hte 3 shower stalls, old & not adjustable for spray, and water controls were tricky. Nice clean inground pool. Several small cabins for rent. Would consider staying here again. Made 35 min. trip to Dunns Falls only to find out it wasn't open as was posted. Best to call ahead before you go. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
