Best campground in dawson creek. Stayed here for 6 weeks this summer. Stones throw away from playground and bike park. Large lots with grass and mature trees. Laundry on site. I've been to the other campgrounds around town and would not consider camping anywhere besides mile 0 campground

Stopped for one night after a long drive. The campground was cramped and crowded. They gave us a spot next to the busy road. Grateful they had a laundry room to do laundry. But my goodness, the laundry area needs serious attention! It looks like it was built in 1940 and hasn’t been painted or updated! Imagine what a little paint and imagination could do to improve the area.

We stopped for one night on our way to Alaska. The staff was really nice and provided great information. We had a back in site although we had requested a pull thru site. There were plenty of sites available, but our site was fine. We did have to juggle it a bit so that one of our tires wasn't in a hole. Once we were positioned, we were level and had plenty of room. Although this is right on the highway, it was very quiet. The bathrooms were old but very clean. The wifi was great. This is a popular stop for those traveling on the Alaska Highway. There is a wonderful Pioneer Village that you can explore. The entrance is through the office. They do request a donation and it is worth it.

I've been camping in RV campgrounds for the past two years, and I've had some fantastic experiences along the way. Unfortunately, my recent stay at this campground was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the campground manager and directed to our site. As we began setting up the RV, we quickly noticed an issue with the electrical system. We immediately informed the manager, who sent someone to inspect the situation. However, the issue wasn’t resolved, and we were told it was our RV causing the problem. As an engineer, I know how to troubleshoot these things, so I tested the system myself. I was able to open the pop-up using our generator without any issues. When I asked the manager to help resolve the problem, he suggested we move to another site—at an additional cost. It became clear that the reason for this was that the other site was a "premium" one, and he stood to make more money from us. Feeling frustrated by the lack of a genuine solution and the manager's rude attitude, we decided to cancel our stay. The way the situation was handled gave the impression that the manager was more interested in upselling us than in providing a proper solution to the issue. I regret that this experience left us feeling like we were being pushed to pay more for something that should have been handled with better service and customer care.

Great location, clean and level sites. We were greeted by a moose at the edge of the campground. The Dawson Trail is just down the dirt road and we walked to Original Joe's and had a great burger. They have a pet friendly patio. It's a paved trail winding 6 miles (round trip) through parks.

We stopped here overnight as we traveled the Great Alaskan Highway. The employees were very gracious and kind. The sites were sufficient. The comfort stations/bathhouse was newely remodeled and very clean. I really wished we had taken the time to go through the village right there on site.
