This is a large park, well managed, clean and safe. There are several camp areas, paved roads, play areas, trails and beaches. Rest rooms and showers are well maintained.

Beautiful park. Lots and lots of different wildlife. Had a dispersed camping spot right on the water. It was peaceful. Spots are good size and clearly marked. Only con is all bathrooms are located near the utility sites which seems a bit backwards.

What a State Park! Super accessible, very well kept and with beautiful sights to see at all different directions! I can see why now this is a popular spot for boaters and campers! Kayaking was awesome, just stayed along the side in wake area to be clear of any boaters. Well kept clean bathrooms with full showers and even laundry! Washer took about 33 minutes for a full load and drying was 45 minutes. A must stop in for you and the family to explore and experience! The pipeline trail was so beautiful if you like walking and hiking! Also talk about the sunsets from the water truly an beautiful experience! Friendly camp hosts and workers as well. Real treat here you don't wanna miss! Lots of cute and quaint towns around to go for a day trip too, plus Fort Riley is close if you are a veteran or active to get on the base. Thank you, Milford State Park!

This may out new favorite state park! Stayed in the state cabins, these book up fast during peak months. So much to do at this park. Outfitters offering boat rental and guided fishing excursions. Splash pad. Horse trails. Campground with horse pens. Kept up concrete topped picnic areas, wish all the parks kept these up. Great fishing. Did not have time to explore everything, hope to on our next stay.

Absolutely wonderful! The RV site price was very reasonable. Helpful hosts in Eagle Ridge camping. My kids and I loved the splash pad with warm water & kids bop playing on the speakers! I loved that the swim beach, playground, and splash pad were all close together. Eagle Ridge camping was about a half mile walk to the swim beach, playground, & splash pad which was very doable with our Jeep stroller. My older son caught the biggest catfish of his life & to see him jump up & down with joy is a core memory. There were grills, picnic tables with shade, & clean restrooms everywhere. If you have younger kids you have to go to the Nature Center. We will most definitely be coming back!

Fun little park with beaches and swim holes. The rocks on the beach and in the water will for sure cut your feet up and there isn't much space to spread out.

Best park in Kansas. Tons for the family to do. Restrooms and showers are always clean and the primitive sites are fantastic for tent camping.

Very well maintained, reasonably priced, extensive lands and hiking trails. Camping sites with beautiful views of the lake. We come here often. Renting a kayak here is a fun and easy.

Great place for camping and fishing. Largest lake in Kansas. You can pay for daily access or a year pass for all KS state parks. They offer tent, RV and cabins for your stay. They have multiple loading docs for putting your boats in, a splash pad and a beach for swimming. They also have corrals for your horses if you want to ride the trails.

This was our first time camping at Milford. We stayed in Walnut Grove and the camp site was exceptional. Mike and Cindy, the camp hosts, made sure to greet and wave as we drove past. We chatted with them several times including a small incident that needed their attention. They were professional and dealt with the issue quickly. Camp site was spectacular! Showers are hot and free. Restroom facility was well stocked and clean. Way more than we expected, plus it’s a beautiful lake. Easily recommend this weekend getaway.
