We were passing through on our way to Fort Leonard Wood and stayed a night. Check-in wasn’t super clear. You have to go to the MWR building to check in. Campground was about 1.5 miles from check-in. Nice wooded area with water views, a small beach and concrete pads. We still had to use our levelers as our pad wasn’t level but not a big deal. Dump station was pretty easy to get to. We were thankful we had purchased a surge protector before this trip as the outlet sparked when we plugged straight in. We would definitely stay again if out this way. The quietness and lightening bugs definitely make it a peaceful place to stay.

Definitely have your jack pads ready. Most of the sites are not well graded and are not level. Could use additional signage to help navigate the campground. On the plus side, most of the sites have concrete pads. Check in was easy and they were very nice. Kinda remote and not much to do. Which may be a plus if that is what you are looking for. For those with access, commissary nearby is okay, smallish. Exchange is extremely small, I thought we walked into the Package Store. Laundry was good 1 wash and dryer, but reasonably priced. Bathhouse is well kept with plenty of hot water and good showerheads. Overall, didn't hate it, but didn't love it either.

A absolute hidden gem. Nice concrete pads with electric and water. Has a free to use dump buddy. Very nice views of the lake, deer and wildlife all over. BX and Commissary about 5 miles from the FamCamp.

This campground is immaculate with all the amenities that a camper needs! The grounds and sites are taken care of properly. The laundry works great! The staff are respectful, professional, and friendly. What May not be common knowledge is that there are mountain bike trails within a few hundred yards of the campground and they’re fantastic.

This was our second stay at Arnold AFB FamCamp and we enjoyed it very much. The campground is wooded and the lake views are amazing. Cindy and Mike at Outdoor Rec were both very helpful and friendly.

Sewer hook ups would make it perfect

Haven't been to Arnold afb since before the virus. Had a wonderful surprise to see all the sites had been leveled out with slabs for all the campers to park on and a patio. It looks awesome. Fishing was slow this trip but the weather was perfect. Thank you to the commander that approved the upgrade to our fancamp.

Location is beautiful and quiet along the lake. Check in closes at 5 but you can go take care of that in the morning. The only downside is the parking and angles of the sites to the road.

Loved it very nice poeple around me . But next time I'm bringing a weed eater. The sad thing about it in my cousin had to get the spot for us and I like to do it on my own but besides that

I recommend NOT going to this campground. Very hard to get in and out. Poorly maintained. Very poor hours of service. Should be closed down.
