As other reviewers point out - this is truly one of the most well kept campgrounds I’ve seen or been too. The keepers/hosts go to great lengths to clean the facilities, landscape and even decorate for the season. The bathroom and laundry area were truly delightful amenities. Which is saying something when you are camping. It’s pretty quiet and people tend to keep to themselves. The real standout was the view. We were lucky with perfect clear skies for stargazing and the ability to burn a camp fire. Tent camped for only one night but looking forward to many more stays. If I had to provide any criticism it would be difficulty in getting onto the base - the main gate is not open 24/7 as the website would indicate but had better luck at the Charles Porter gate instead.

There are 4 cabins for rent at Cliffside. They're very nice and clean with beautiful views. We loved staying in the cabin, except for a couple things. There's one small Queen or maybe it was a Full sized bed and two bunk beds. The bunk beds are incredibly uncomfortable. The mattress thin, very hard and uncomfortable. Something needs to be done about those bunk beds. If you're an adult, don't plan on getting any sleep. Also, there's no way to close or lock the bathroom door. The door is a pocket door and there's no hole drilled hole for the latch to flip into and no mechanism for turning it so the door slides open.

One of the very best military RV parks we’ve ever seen. Unbeatable location on the ocean with stunning sunsets. First rate facilities, free laundry machines, clean restrooms and showers. Easy access to the beach and to a cliff top walking trail.

This is one of the cleanest, most well-kept campground we have ever been to. The jets are loud but usually only pass over a few times a day, and not typically after about 10 PM. There are beautiful flowers everywhere and easy beach access. Definitely plan to watch the sunset if it's clear!

This is the nicest base campground we have been too. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to help you in any way. Camp host Ken has done an amazing job making the gardens beautiful, with flowers and drifting wood art! There is plenty of yard games for the whole family to enjoy! As well as direct beach access (sand beach), miles of Walk/ running trails, free laundry and showers (clean!) Other base campgrounds should be taking notes!!!

Well maintained and picturesque views. Its near a flight line, so jet noise will be there. But it's affordable, unique, has programs throughout the year, and great hiking nearby. Close to other spots though

This RV park is an awesome little community that has been built and added to the campgrounds. The brach and views are stunning. It is a great spot for budding photographers and inspiring artists to come out and capture some easy and natural beauty.

Wow, what a place!! Have to be military or sponsored to get in. It is an active Navy Base and the jets are flying!! Beautiful camp ground. Very well run. Two pages of rules!
