We recently stayed at Navy Getaways Fairways RV Resort and found it to be a mixed experience overall. On the positive side, the location is very convenient. It’s close to town, the beaches, and military amenities like the commissary and gym, which made daily errands easy. The sites themselves are all concrete with full hookups, and having free laundry on-site was a major bonus. There also appeared to be plenty of site availability during our stay. That said, the atmosphere of the park left a lot to be desired. A large portion of residents appear to be long-term or near-permanent occupants, which made the park feel more like a trailer park than a short-term RV destination. Noise was also a consistent issue. Water pressure is poor for the entire base. Dogs barked frequently, the main road next to the base often sounded like a drag strip at all hours, and train horns from the nearby port were heard multiple times throughout the day. Unfortunately, we also didn’t find the environment particularly welcoming. Many residents felt standoffish, and staff interactions were not especially friendly. Overall, the park works well if you need a convenient, full-hookup location near base amenities, but those looking for a quieter or more traditional RV park experience may want to consider other options.

Expensive. Ok site size, no grass, trees, concrete pads, lots of rocks. Near the commissary and exchange. Train crossing nearby provides plenty of noise.

HIDE YOUR KIDS! Decent RV park located on a military base. A lot of spaces, pull through parking for campsites newly renovated rocks. They removed all the grills so you better have a grill to cook on for yourself. Front desk lady seems very adamant to yell at children and not allow them outside of campers not that there is anything for kids to do here. Free washer and dryer when they are working which is half the time. Not to mention located next to the golf course so look out for flying golf balls if you don’t catch who hit the ball good luck on the bill. Real adamant about the speed limit front desk woman comes running out of the office if you go 1 mile over five. Somethings is just not right with this one.

Great Military RV park, adjacent to Seabee Golf ⛳ course that's in sad shape. Base CO needs to invest some MWR funds.... Trees needs to be trimmed for big rigs on the exit loop and the road leading in/out needs potholes filled. I drove 2 mph to keep from jostling my rig.

Very nice place, level concrete spaces, easy hook-ups and pull in. Laundry room is clean, but equipment needs to be serviced/updated. Bathrooms are clean and in good working order, but again, could use some maintenance. Only real complaint is the one staff member I dealt with (camp host), was rude. He should go buy a personality as God obviously didn't give him one! Spoke to another guest who stays here often and she agreed he is not very welcoming. Overall, I would happily stay here again.
