Great FAM camp for military retirees and 100% DAV. Large park. Long pull thrus. Grassy areas. Pets welcome with breed exceptions so check. Great location in central SA. $30 a night. Break on weekly and monthly. Max 6 months

The staff are friendly, the sites are even, and the location is very convenient for many attractions nearby. There is always a park host available to assist if you run into issues. There's a cute dog oark and playground and the RV Park has small burst of woods on the edges to help you feel like you're not right on a military installation. But you'll know you are because of the bugle calls you'll hear coming from base! The biggest downfall is the noise from the nearby train crossings and hospital. But you'll feel safe and secure here being on a militarybase and surrounded by neighbors who have all served their country. Great spot! Definitely recommend.

Best FAMCAMP in the states! Perfect location. Great staff!! Staff are so helpful, diligent, professional, and great pride in doing great work! We love staying at this campground. It is always well-groomed and superbly managed!

RV park is nice, paved sites with about 20 feet of space on each side and some sights have great shade trees. Bathouses coud use some renovation and repairs. The biggest issue is thourghout FSH the roads are full of ruts, holes and bumps. Worst roads I have ever seen on a base. most of the base speed limit is 20 MPH, you cant go any faster because of the roads conditions.

We've made a number of trips to the camp and every time our experiences have been fantastic! Friendly staff, level concrete pads and clean bathrooms top the long list of great things about our visits. Don't forget to look for the monster deer! We see them nearly every day or evening. Either wandering the camp or walking the golf course. Very cool to see. We'll be back!!!

Love this park. Level, cement pads, nice patio, some shade, clean. Well maintained. Prices went up 1 May 2022.

DO NOT follow Google maps directions through back gate. Put the Main Gate into you navigation device. The sites are all pull-thru, the staff is very friendly. The slab I am on has a drivers side lean to it. Not much shade. It is a long trip across base to the RV park.

It's a great RV FamCamp! The RV sites are large and level. The base has a nice Exchange and Commissary. The people working at the FamCamp were very helpful. Looking forward to our next stay!

I have stayed here on and off for 5 years. The new management and office staff is unbelievable! Since they have been here everything has improved. It is so clean and maintained. The entire staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are absolutely the best . You will enjoy your stay here while visiting San Antonio.
