Nice campground overall for a good price. Has tent spots and hookup RV spots. Facilities are pretty decent and the sites are spacious.

Plenty of spaces to rent with and without hook ups. One Playground next to us was down when we were here which was a bummer but overall would recommend. Facilities are clean.

I camp here for much needed peace. Clean, safe and the staff even helped me replace my car battery. There’s fire pits, bathrooms, showers, and laundry mat. I love that the Commissary is close enough that I don’t have to take food or wood with me. For added bonus, you get to wake up to hot marines jogging in the morning. Definitely a fantastic way to start the day 😘

Nice lots for the RVs, pretty level too. Good hookups, although the separate spaces don't have a dump spot. You need to use the main dump for that. The lake is gorgeous, and there is a small boat rental option for campers. There are a fair number of tent sites, some of them really close to the lake. There is a good amount of shade as well, with some play areas for kids... Being on a military base, one feels quite safe. No 'family bathrooms " in the bath house, but the m/w baths are fine. They could do with small benches at the shower area. The whole facility looked well kept and very clean. Dumpsters were at several places and emptied regularly. At 35.00/night, it's hard to beat. I did not ask about a monthly rate. The base is positively HUGE, with two gas station, a commissary and the px. At one end of the base, you exit right next to Rt5 añd the coastal highway. Great for sightseeing, or going to one of the many beaches on the coast. Quite the place, and we will stop here again in the future!!
