We had such a relaxing time labor day weekend! The entire place was meticulously clean. Everything was quiet and peaceful at camp. There was a water issue at the rv campground and we were notified to fill up basins before the water was shut off. We appreciated the heads up. They quickly had a contractor out and had the water back on quickly. I was shocked to see a crew out so quickly. We caught some catfish and were given pointers on where to put in for the best catch by the really friendly staff. The grounds are pet friendly and we met several pets that we fell in love with! There's a store that I swear has exactly what I needed, even cream cheese! Those last minute "oh crap, we forgot paper plates was put to rest quickly! That was our first time there but won't be the last! I think we will try one of the cabins and renting a pontoon next time!

Great place to camp, fish ride or hike. It's best with a boat but you can still fish from the shore and there is a lot of clean and clear shore access. They even have a loop with about 10 picnic tables right near the water you can use freely for anything.

First time here, and we’ll be back. We stayed in spot 11 right next to the water tower and it was great. As the weather was a bit rough we didn’t get to the lake this time. Local attraction Ozark Caverns offers an excellent cave tour

Stayed in a nice quaint apartment bnb. It didn't matter it was small because right it the front door is about 100' to the lake. If your in bed of a getaway give this one a shot. Used Air BNB to book it. It is under Bob and Sue Chatham camp ground (not really a camp ground) but very affordable and close to camdenton.

We stayed in Cabin number 1. It was a nice size and slept 7. The stairs to go to the loft are VERY steep (for younger kids or elderly). There was no wifi and very little cell service. I the TVs were incredibly small, but had hundreds of channels. The employees and staff were incredible and welcoming. A few minor things broken in the cabin but did not have an impact on the stay. There was a stove top, full fridge, and microwave. You really can’t beat the price to stay on the lake + boat rentals are great. Nice little beach in walking distance. Overall an awesome resource for military and veterans. Bring food or stuff to cooked, closest food is about a 15-20 minute drive. Also bring firewood!

Great Getaway Location! Perfect Family Vacation spot to relax in a quieter area on the lake but still reaching distance to the touristy Osage Beach area if you want to drive. Our cabin was well maintained and very nice (2Bed, 1Bath). Good water pressure, fresh linens and towels provided on check-in, and kitchen was small but stocked with plates, silverware, etc. No oven in our cabin but we were told other cabins have them included. The process of renting the boats and jet skis is very easy. Boats were in good condition and the prices very reasonable. All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, this is located in a beautiful area and you don’t have to travel far to enjoy all the lake has to offer. We hope to come back again!

The full hookup sites aren’t bad. We had an issue with out 30 amp breaker, but other than that no issues. The swim area wasn’t good at all. Someone told us it was because the water was up really high and washed the beach out. Boat rentals were a great price and very easy to rent.

A decent somewhat exclusive area to go fishing. Make sure you bring your military ID with you or you could get into a lot of trouble.

Definitely our favorite place to camp and fish that's within an hour drive from home. They have partial and full hookup, 30A at partial and both 30A and 50A at full. Boat ramp is free. Of course this is only available to Currently serving our Retired Veterans.
