What a great place to enjoy the ocean and have quick access to Key West. My wife and I have been here for almost 3 months and we have thoroughly enjoyed every day. We were supposed to leave a month and a half ago and we just keep telling ourselves, that we are not ready to leave the campground nor the Key West area. Alas, we have to leave this Sunday for a family event so we will do so with sadness in our hearts. A great combination of dry camping and full hook ups. There are three different bath houses with laundry facilities. One of the laundry facilities is currently shut down for repairs. In addition to the great location and facilities, the staff here is just incredible. Headed up by Shannon, the rest of the team, Dennis, Alvin, Andrea, and Angel do a phenomenal job of supporting all the campers. It is amazing to watch them handle the campers' request sto be moved from one part of the campground to another for a variety of reasons. Some people want to move from dry camping to full hook ups. Other people want to move from full hook ups not on the waterfront, to full hook ups on the waterfront. Whatever the request is, the team works hard to accommodate the campers. They are also quick to respond to any maintenance issues that arise. Can't say enough good things about them.

Awesome campground with great views. Spots are tight but worth it! Make sure to have your paperwork ready though they want to see it all.

This base is amazing! The price is phenomenal! $45 per for an unobstructed view of the ocean! The poor office staff wanted so much information I swear they were going to ask the size of my personal ahem…information! Check In takes about a hour to go through all of your paperwork, military ID, vehicle/camper registrations, insurances, etc. However, the best part of camping there was my camp host, Alex! He offered great advice on places to go, price lines, what to do, how to snorkel properly, and the better spots around for everything; whether it be food, recreation or fun! The man is a true “host” of knowledge and went above and beyond to make my family and the other campers feel very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place with golf view, and beautiful sunsets. Nice leveled spots, close to the commissary and Nex, plenty of parking. Short drive to the Key West but far away enough to enjoy a quiet and peaceful time just admiring the view.

It’s a good campground. Not too crowded especially compared to other RV camps in the area, facilities are very nice, and pretty easy to enter/exit. It is military only and you can’t have fires. We stayed for 80 days, weather was amazing every day except for 3, the beach area is nice, and the restaurant there is pretty decent. There are usually a few younger families too. The commissary and exchange are both small but it’s also Key West so it’s good for the area. If you plan on staying for a while and you have kids, there’s four parks, a rec building, church every Sunday at 1030 (at the rec building), a splash pad, teen center, and youth center. Great people great place.

The location is perfect. I mean it is the Keys. This sight is will kept easy to get to and the staff will make you stay feel like home. It was worth the drive/stop for us and for the price it was the best stop we .are all year. We look forward to going back. Thanks guys!

Happy we got to stay here. Great site on the water. No hookups took a few days to get use to. And the fire ants are horrible and can't get anyone here to come and spray or lay stuff on the ground to get rid of them. Only thing I would like to see is better cleaning of the restrooms. The cleaning lady comes and sweeps the floor. Been here three weeks and she's come once a week. Haven't seen her clean the sick, toilets or showers. Funny they make you wear mask everywhere on base but can't clean the bathrooms. And I think they should have the doors lock with a key code for just the campers to use the bathrooms. The entire crew that work at waste management come and use them. Gross. stayed 10/31/21 tru 12/15/21

Great views. Spaces are (like everywhere in FL) very tight! No canopies allowed (understandable)

Stayed at the Sigsbee west. Nice full hook up sites. The waterside sites have concrete pads. They are a little tight, but easy to get in to.

Definitely the place to be 🌴 no longer the place to be. Permanently closed due to the cooties (covid-19) but mostly due to very poor management. MacDill air Force Base is the new place Tampa Florida 👍
