We come here at least once a year since we started camping. When we first started coming the sites were clean , now the place looks run down. I know ow it's trees all around but take time to make the place look decent. The bathroom showers is the worst it's ever been. All it takes is some bleach or Ajax and wipe the walls . Black mold. The staff is friendly and real nice but make sure you are servicing everyone.

It was great! Very relaxing. If we could just keep people from speeding through the no wake zones, it would be perfect! :-)

If I were to rate based on the lake, this would be 5. BUT, for RV camping, it is pretty rugged! The roads are the worst we have experienced. Serious potholes upon entering, curvy hills with broken up roads and speed bumps…why speed bumps to make it even more challenging for your RV especially pulling a vehicle🤷‍♀️.Office was nice, you can only call for reservations. But ask a lot of questions about the site available. We had option of 5 or 6 and I asked, which is better and they said 5. Absolute worst site in the grounds😡. 6 is concrete, more functional room, more level. Ours is up against a small eroded hill so we can’t open our storage to get our camping chairs, grill and wood out! We did get to our beach chairs. Plus our front wheels are a few feet off the ground for leveling. Found a few ticks on the dog and we are fighting mosquitoes, not that they can do anything about it, just FYI. No sites are tended to, they do have free laundry and we needed that, pretty clean except for a few spider webs. Water and electric work fine for us. Nice day trip, boating launches, cottages look nice.

We spent the day kayaking, just enjoying a getaway day. Having a picnic, relaxing in this little hidden gem. We didn't stay in one of the cabins this time, but they are very nice. Did get the chance to meet one of the Service Hosts, Ashley and Remington. She was terrific. Thank you for the time you gave us. Mark, Barbra, and Ben

If you're military prior or active I couldn't recommend a better place to get some R&R. The lake is beautiful, full of fish and a great beach for swimming. Also they offer several options for how you can camp from affordable all the up to glamping, it's very nice and has showers at the restrooms.
