Very nice place. We did not have a reservation but they were able to get us in their LAST spot. Easy to accommodate us since we only have a small camper van and was just seeking a safe, quiet place to park for the night during our travels. We appreciate them working with us. Our spot was on the end, just a short walk from the bath house, beach and dog park area (no dog tho). It was a nice night. We would return.

Great campground for a great price. Bathhouse is always clean and plenty of beach access with decent fishing.

We stayed a few months on and off at this park and besides the typical Florida insects and heat, you can't beat the park and the price if you have access to stay here! People in the office are kind and allowed us to pick a different spot we liked that was open when we arrived. The spots are good sized and concrete which is always nice. You are literally a path away from the beach which usually barely has anyone on it. And the Blue Angels practice weekly right over the park and the beach (the park is right across the street from the aviation museum) and our kids had a blast watching them every morning they were out! The only cons we had staying here: little kids ages 4-9 running around and literally crawling under our RV without an adult supervising- this was a very frequent occurrence and is terrifying when big RVs are pulling in and out. And also a neighbor who had borrowed a tool of ours to tighten a tripod seemed to have "borrowed" it a second time without asking when leaving and took it with them- can't really hold that against the park though. Friendly people and staff, well kept, great location, great price. Will definitely stay again!

Copied from a friend.....I think. I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 60 years later. I don't have to go to school or work. I get an allowance every month. I have my own pad. I don't have a curfew. I have a driver's license and my own car. The people I hang around with are not scared of getting pregnant and I don't have acne. Life is great. I changed my car horn to gunshot sounds. People get out of the way much faster now. Gone are the days when girls used to cook like their mothers. Now they drink like their fathers. I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes five years in a row. I decided to stop calling the bathroom "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning. Old age is coming at a really bad time. When I was a child I thought "nap time" was a punishment. Now it feels like a small vacation. The biggest lie I tell myself is... " I don't have to write that down, I'll remember it". I don't have gray hair... I have "wisdom highlights"! I'm just very wise. If God wanted me to touch my toes, He would've put them on my knees. Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet. Why do I have to press one for English when you're just going to transfer me to someone I can't understand anyway? Of course, I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice. At my age "Getting Lucky" means walking into a room and remembering what I came I have more friends I should send this to, but right now I can't remember their names. Now, I'm wondering... did I send this to you, or did you send it to me?

This is my favorite military campground. Two minute walk to the beach. The staff and camp host are always so helpful and friendly. Lots of walking and biking and dog friendly.
