Awesome campground. Check in was slightly confusing but we figured it out. Very quiet. Front half has full hook ups back half does not. We were in the back half but was good either way since it had water and 50 amp. Highly reccomend for any military looking for a short term or long term place to camp. Website reservation was very easy and they did a courtesy call day prior.

It is a nice, quiet, campground. There is only one shower stall though and no laundry facility. Also, no internet.

So relaxing and Peaceful. Nothing fancy just your basic camping experience. No wifi provided. Sites are 30 or 50 Amp concrete pads not all sites have sewer. You have your own picnic table on a concrete pad as well. The bathhouse is kept clean. Deer, racoon, foxes lots of wild birds. Very reasonable price infact one of the cheaper options in the area. *Dose require base access*

Quiet campground in out of the way location. $24 p/night full HU and concrete pads. You will need a toad if you need groceries because NEX is a hike. Check in at the Mariner which is on the left just past the chapel BEFORE you go thru the gate .

Moved to different sites, most sites have no sewer hookup, one camper called the cops (base police and Chesapeake police) on my kids for playing outside and riding bikes around the campground. Not once, but twice. Tree limb fell and dented our car and our 5th wheel antenna. I don't recommend this campsite or the base with few to zero amenities to anyone. No laundry, water tastes like well water, no wifi, and no thank you ever again!

New ~ 30' parking concrete pads, patio and picnic tables with water and electric for $22. Some sites have sewer too. Ballahack road from hwy 17 for 7 miles was not pleasant because it had some low trees (we're 13.5' high), numerous large trucks and it didn't have a shoulder. After turning onto Relay Rd, pull into parking lot on left a block before gate to check in after 11am. Gate security had to move the barriers so we could drive straight.

Very quiet and enjoyable camp ground only 3 because it does not have water and space sewage hook ups.
