We wanted to find a fishing spot without a lot of speed boats disrupting the lake. This was the place and fishing was good for bluegill and sunfish.

Mill creek security broke into my boat and stole my keys while it was sitting at my leased docked I've payed for 5 years in a row then proceeded to leave it unlocked. I wouldn't recommend anyone go to that lake unless they are looking to be harassed by the very people that are supposed to protect the paying customers that visit the lake. If I could give 0 stars I would have.

38 some miles of shoreline with lots of Wildlife coming to the waters edge. Go slow around the edges or give a thrill pulling a tube or go skiing.

4/7-4/9 - Total Solar Eclipse Camping . I had a hard time finding an actual 'campsite'! I'm used to looking for a site marker with a number, a picnic table, and a fire pit. This was just wide open grass or wooded area to throw up a tent and have a fire ring delivered to wherever you landed! It was very primitive but I made the best of it! And I think this is because they had to relocate us due to previous rainfall which caused flooding of the campsites. This is the only reason why 4 stars. The rest is 5 stars.... . When I arrived, the gals in the small store and checkout point were so kind and welcoming. I grabbed my 12 pieces of firewood and followed the map to my campsite. After the rain on Sunday, it was an amazing time for the rest of the trip! Security was there quite often throughout the whole time I was there. . There were two good-sized chocolate labs, a boy and a girl, visiting campsites around Monday morning. They were sweet, friendly, and very chill. They sensed I was a solo camper. And they ended up sleeping outside my tent Monday night to protect me. I know this because my camp neighbors told me this Tuesday morning. Monday, when they came back to their site from Star Gazing by the Lake, the dogs barked at them as they approached their site. That's when they knew they were protecting me. Great story, right?!
