Clean grounds but a Karen runs the place loves to stick her nose in your business that has nothing to do with the camp. Avoid the owner lady, will not return

Well to start, I will say that the camp grounds are actually very clean and well maintained, as well as the bathrooms and the pool. The 2 star rating comes from the terrible interactions and attitude issues of whoever is running this place. We drove 3 hours to stay here and we were immediately didn't want to stay. 1. Speed limit is 5 miles an hour. This is not a problem and I was more than happy to accommodate, however even clocking in at a shocking 3MPH I was given the "slow down" hand movements by who I assume to be the owner, and their regulars. (again, happy to do it... But this is ridiculous) 2. Charged for two sites planned for sites to be adjoining and reserved then as such, then we were told they would be split between two ends of the grounds. And upon condensing to 1 site, still did not receive my return on the other side. I don't know if it was an off day, or if the woman we spoke to is always as rude and snobby as she was to us the entire weekend, but had I known the state park had open sites just a few miles up the road we would've gone there prior to even setting up camp after the first interaction. Is it pretty? Sure. Clean? Yes, absolutely. Would I recommend this place to any of my friends? No.

Owners are very attentive. Quiet and clean. Beautiful sites. Kid and dog friendly. (Remember your rabies certificate.) I highly recommend.

We are very disappointed with how our planned trip was handled. We had booked for 3 nights well over a month ago knowing that Covid could be an issue with out of state travelers. So I called and asked at the time of booking if we are good to stay, and was informed as of that time we where. So I paid in full for our 3 nights. We are now a week away from our trip, so I call to confirm and find out what we need to do. Since I have not heard from them in any manner. So after I call to confirm, the husband says his wife will call me back, OK. So I get a call from the wife, who states that she has issued me a refund (not a full refund) because THEY are canceling my reservation. WHAT!!! Why??? So her secret web site does not have the state of Georgia on her list, but the State of Vermont has no issues as long as I prove negative on a PCR test. So very bad business and I will be contacting the BBB or anyone else I can find to lodge a complaint.

Stayed the summer. Loved it. Best place. Lori And Doug are wonderful. The pool is beautiful. A lot of activities, and a lot of fun . It is geared for the family and for people that work. My husband works on a bridge and it’s quiet. I just wish we could come back next year but you have to go where the job wants you. You will love Mill Pond Campground. Thank you Lori and Doug for a wonderful summer!

We only stayed there one night. But it deserves 5 stars because of the service received. The owners were not around but one family member who was there took us around the park to find a spot for the night. The campground is nice. The spot we got had a lot of space between us and the neighbor. And we met the owners the next day. When the time came to pay for the night, I only had Canadian dollars with me (we had just crossed over the evening before). They still gladly took our CAD as payment. We had a great first night in the US. Vermont as a lot of very nice people!
