Yes it’s basically a time share. We have a membership we got a few years ago we use it maybe once or twice a year. Earlier this we were getting phone calls from debt collectors, we ignored them thinking scam because the messages they left us did not mention Mill Brook, then got a letter with the information that our membership has been cancelled and we owe x amount of dollars for a loan we had for our initial membership. We forgot that the loan was on a debit card that expired. So I call Mill Brook and they refused to talk to me and told me to call the debt collector. I was going to pay the loan off with them over the phone. I had to settle it with the debt collector. Fast forward to today, received a letter (had the right last name for me, wrong first name and totally wrong name for my wife) that we didn’t pay our membership fee this year and I had 10 days to pay it. Never received a phone call or letter from them. Their communications suck, but nice camp ground, so of the sites are kind of tight, but we like it there.

My husband and I bought a lot in 2021/2022. For the most part it’s been fine but last year all of a sudden no one can answer our calls or call us back. Now this year we just received a letter (with someone else’s names on it but our address). Stating a final notice on dues. We never got any notice until this one, I’ve called multiple times this year and last, only to never get a call back and I’m assuming it has something to do with the wrong account info on their end. At this point my husband and I will probably just sell our lot their custom service is frustrating and now threatening us is absolutely ridiculous. We’re regretting getting involved with Millbrook

Lovely staff. Beautiful scenery. Lots of activities. Lots of events. Very nice cabins and rentals. Glad we joined. Highly recommend. Talk to Rich or Debbie.

I think my review got deleted... My family and I had a great time tent camping at Millbrook this weekend! We won 7 free nights' stay as a part of their "contest" which is really just an hour seminar on why we should invest in their membership and a free smart watch prize. All these other reviewers complaining are just salty because I'll take it! The membership is a scam though because it's only for a discount and not a fully covered stay but the regular prices are affordable so it's not worth it. There were plenty of amenities for us to enjoy and the facilities were mostly well taken care of. My two young boys got to enjoy TWO playgrounds, one of which was a little wobbly but still a great thing to have to do. Theres a big lake for catch and release fishing with no license required. There are plenty of sporty activities where you can borrow the balls and equipment from the office. Whoever designed the mini golf course was creative and I would love to see that part expanded! The main attraction for us was the indoor pool which is temperature controlled so it's not unbearably cold! We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor beach because the geese had polluted it with their poop which is really no fault of the resort. I think we accidentally pitched our tent on an RV site because their map was just a tad inaccurate but they were pretty cool about it. All the sites are equipped with water and electric which was a pro and there are plenty of bathrooms. They also sell firewood and ice so we didn't have to go far on our second night. My only complaint is that the bathroom cleaner is not thorough enough with her job. The toilets were clean and the showers were okay but she couldn't be bothered to knock down all the cobwebs or restock the hand sanitizer. I'm afraid of spiders and worried about them falling on my head 😂😭 It's a shame I may not be able to use many more of my free stays by April but I would be more than happy to clean their bathrooms for more free stays on my own time!! I'll have to bring my business cards next time 💜

My family and I had a great time tent camping at Millbrook this weekend! We were offered 7 free nights as a part of their "contest" where they basically market their membership to us. For an hour lecture, I'll take 7 free nights! All these other reviews complaining about it are just salty they cant visit like they want to. I even got a free smart watch! They sure know what they're doing when it comes to advertising themselves. The membership is a scam though because it's only paying for a discount not an actual stay, however their regular prices seem affordable. My two young kids had plenty to do (although they whined the whole time 🙄) and the facilties are mostly well-maintained. All the sites were equipped with electric and water which was a big pro. There's a huge lake where everyone can catch and release without a license. My children enjoyed TWO playgrounds, one of which was a little wobbly but still a great thing to have to do. Their indoor pool was the main attraction for us. It's temperature controlled so it wasn't unbearably cold! Mini golf was a good time, I just wish it was a little bigger so it could last longer. The only thing we really didnt get to enjoy was their mini "beach." We chose not to because the geese polluted the water and sand with poop but thats not really any fault of the resort. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom cleaner rushes through her job and doesn't clean them thoroughly enough. She couldn't even be bothered to restock the hand sanitizer, help knock down a hornets nest in one of them or the cobwebs in all the corners. I hate spiders and was afraid of them falling on my head! 😂 I also think we accidentally pitched our tent in an RV spot becase their map is inaccurate but they were pretty cool about it. It's a shame I might not be able to use the rest of my free days because it expires in April but I would be willing to clean their bathrooms in exchange for some more free stays! Too bad my business cards haven't arrived yet... Lastly, if I could make any suggestions, it would be to implement another entrance, especially for the back of the park where all the members stay because they are in and out very often.
