Basic and rustic sites. Sites vary ,some have cement areas, some are drivethrus, most have water and 50 amp hookup. Sadly woods need a cleanup, over 150 tires and plastic waste thru forest, not sure why they don't do a cleanup.sites are quiet. They have a few tiny cabins at front entrance for. Bathroom with shower, note building is not insulated or heated. Overall this place has more potential with a little more tlc invested. Highest site price per day in the area.

Stopped here for a night on a cross country trip. When 4 other campgrounds refused me because I’m just tenting and not in an RV, Don here was very nice and accommodating. I had a spot directly on the water. Fire pit, picnic table and a wonderful view.

We got in late and the campground host still came out to meet us. Very affordable campsite. The showers were hot and we got to camp right beside the Illinois river. Thanks for having us! If we are ever in the area again we will stay here.

I was suprised at what we found when we got there. Don our host was on the spot took us to our spot and it was all even better than advertised. It looks like they have put some recent work in the the park new picnic tables. reviews had said the water was bad but not for us clean nice water. the park was clean grommed and well taken care of. Bring your fishing poles a nice fishing area. This is next to the Illinois River the camp being on the east side made for some realy nice sunsets. had a blast. lookin forward to going back soon.

I made reservations without reading a lot of reviews. After the fact, I know dumb, I read a lot of reviews. Lots of complaints. But I decided that since I was staying in my own camper for one night and had my own bathroom I could risk it. Boy, I’m sure glad I did. It was a charming little campground. We had a little bit of a view of the river. Don was very kind and helpful. Showed us right to our spot. I can’t attest to the bathrooms. The water pressure was great but I wouldn’t recommend drinking it. It has a very rusty smell/taste. The water looked clear though. I wish I would have had a couple of days to explore the trails and just hang out. If you are looking for luxury and lots of amenities, then no don’t come here. But if you are looking for a pleasant campground near a river (remember to check about flooding before going) i would recommend. Oh, and just leave your trash at the end of your lot. They will come pick it up.

1st time there. Ordered Spicy Sicilian Sandwich. Not spicy at all and sauce was too much sugar and no flavor(Canned). Being Italian myself it was a big letdown. Told the waitress and her response was " oh really? That's not good". She never offered me an option about trying something else or a partial or credit off of our bill. My wife had bowl of chicken wild rice. I tasted it. It was not good compared to others or my homemade one. Almost tasted like nutmeg or pumpkin spice. And way too much. Sorry but it's the brutal truth

A spacious, tree-lined campground next to the Illinois River. Don, camp host, is friendly and accommodating. Don't follow your GPS to Ash Lane! It may take you to the west side of river. Millpoint Road access is on the east side of the river. Call Don to ensure directions. 50A, water and sewer easily accessible. Fire rings and tables at each site. Trees may hamper your satellite connection. OTA TV is available though.

Great views of the Illinois River. Lots of shade. Larger than average sites. Quiet. Peaceful. Very nice owner. We very much enjoyed our stay there yesterday!

Quiet and wooded. I sat and watched boats go by.

Very beautiful and quiet park. Wooded and right on the river with large sites, perfect for large RVs or tent camping. Full hook ups, water was clean and fresh. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Amazing sunsets. Direct access to the river. We loved hearing nature sounds all day and night. Very quick drive to town, restaurants, shopping and the casino. We would definitely come back.
