If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with some fun activities this is the place! There’s the pool, catch and release fishing, usually something going on at the rec hall or in the outdoor area near the rec hall. Playground for the kids. Everyone is friendly that we’ve met and we’ll be back in October for their Halloween weekend! Also not super expensive like some of the other campgrounds near by.

I was in a very difficult situation and needed a last minute place to stay. Not only did Mineral Springs welcome me in, but for 3 days went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, including coming to my camper to see if I needed anything when they went to town and even providing hugs when I was in tears. Can't thank them enough for their care and kindness!! Hope I get to come back for a leisure trip soon!

We got a new Trailer and Went to Mineral Springs Camp ground. It was the first time using it. They were very friendly and helpful. The campground was very nice and clean. They have a nice playground and a pond. I would recommend this campground.

We called here on a Monday night last minute looking for a week stay. They got us right in. We stayed at Safari site A next to the rec hall. Our site was pretty level, large space, plenty of room for our two cars and rig. Sites are only water and electric, but they do have a very easy to get to dump station. Pool was very clean and well kept. It was so quiet here during our stay. We had the entire Safari field to ourselves too. Owners and staff were extremely pleasent and accommodating. It's about 15 minutes from 84.

We place our fifth wheel at a local Campground a few times during the summer. We place this so are kids and grandchildren can use the camper. We paid for one month recently at mineral Springs. The first night my grandson and a couple of his friends plan to stay overnight. They were evicted early during the night. The owners stated that there is a Connecticut Law watch doesn't allow people under 21 to stay by themselves. We have stayed in the past at other campgrounds and this issue never came up. Because of this no one wanted to go back to Mineral Springs. As far as I'm concerned it was a complete waste of money. My other concern was when you are paying nearly $1,000 for a month's stay and then get charged an additional $5 per person for the day and $10 for overnight is outrageous. Talking to other campers they are very vigilant about this ruling. We will never stay here again. Also we did not check out the pool close up. We did this after arriving and discovered it is only a wading pool with 4 ft depth. The campground was well kept. So if you are looking for an overnight stay this would be acceptable. But staying here for the season to me would not make sense.
