We have done camping at mister creek camp grounds. We aimed to get one by the creek, but they were already full. We were there on a Friday, by noon. We have done the north look trail, indicators are not marked appropriately on the trail. We have took many wrong paths because of that. Also, the trees grew thick on a narrow path, they are almost coming on the way.

Beautiful area. Fairly clean and lot of nice spots look around in. Good camping spots both in the actual campground and in the area behind the parking lot. Been coming here for about 5 years.

Incredible place! Very inexpensive! Just $12 per camp and there’s room for at least 2 cars. They also have free campsites within walking distance of the trailhead.

Beautiful Place! Went during the winter was obviously pretty cold but it was an awesome experience! Open Camping and Fire! Awesome Place!

Tiny pay campground (6 sites) on a bend in the road across from the Minister Creek Recreation parking area. Three campsites creekside. Most shady. Fire rings and picnic tables. Nice pit toilets at end of path. No cell service. Minister Creek is lovely and our site was great. The location has a remote deep woods feel, but the recreation area can be busy. There is a network of nice trails that is next to the campground, and some people who are there for a hike will walk through the campground as well. One day there were two busses full of high school students that parked at the parking area. The students hiked the trails. One photo below shows trail map. The campground is in the lower right corner (just barely in the photo).

Nice level sites with a fire ring and picnic table. No electricity or any other hookups. Outhouse at the end of the 6 pay sites, across the street from the free sites.

Love this place. The overlook is awesome!

A beautiful place to camp and hike! The trail is well maintained, and is easily one of the most stunning spots of Allegheny National Forest. There are numerous camp sites in and around around the campground and trail, making multi-day hikes easier to plan.

One of my personal favorites. First come first serve camping, and an absolutely fantastic hike. Each loop is slightly different. I took the entire hike as three separate loops doubling back over each one to make sure we saw every square inch – it’s that beautiful!

Probably the nicest thing about this Campground is its access to the Minister Creek Trail System. There is access to the North Loop, Middle Loop and South Loop trails directly from the campground. Even the relatively short South Loop includes the Minister Valley Overlook, impressive giant boulder outcroppings, ferns, mosses and conifer trees.
