No sand bars here today. River was pretty high. My second Buchanan County campground I visited this morning and nobody camping this Wednesday morning. Two primitive sites ($10) and eight electric sites.

Great place to get away from light pollution

My family used to camp here when I was very young. I would say that I probably was around say between 5-9 years old. I just turned 56 years old. I have so many happy memories of camping here. I'm so glad to see that the park is still here over 50 years later.

Nice clean park. Love when the river is low & you can go out on the huge sand bar!

Great place. 16$ per night includes electric. Plenty of shade. I cannot believe we have the entire place to ourselves.
