Staff is super friendly and seems to get along well. Here for personal reasons and needed to change reservation twice but they kept me in the same spot. Super dog friendly - the play pen is a bit small for my dogs but just walking around the loop of the campgrounds is a good walk.

KOA parked right on a noisy highway. That’s by design I think. They always have a little extra something. This one has putt putt golf, a good pool, a dated but fun game room. The laundry facilities were fine. I was gonna complain about the terrible pot holes in the road but as soon as they could after the rain stopped they got right on it and patched dozens of holes. Great job. I stayed 10 days and had a decent time.

The bathrooms were very clean, the overall campground was clean and tidy. The roads being gravel have lots of potholes. They were going around shoveling gravel into the low spots but without investing in grading with a blade of some sort filling in those holes are pointless. The water smells of rust and really low pressure. The staff were very friendly and professional. The deck around the pool needs some serious help. All of the area is uneven and kinda throws off someone who is walking around the pool area. There are really cheap chairs around the pool. Overall it was a ok place to stay for a short period of time.

This KOA Journey is pretty good overall. They could use grading at the entrance and some gravel would make a world of difference. When we reserved no space with full hookups was available. Many full hookup sites sat empty during our stay. We did not use the bathouse so no insight on that front. Easy access to restaurants and shopping from the campground.

This is my home away from home. I've stayed several times and they know my favorite spots in the woods. I've been working on book projects and live space and quiet. Other than the dogs that love to bark at each other, I find great peace here during the weekdays. I will give them a shout out when my book is published this year!
