Absolutely beautiful and so serene. Lots of parking and very clean. Enjoyed my time there so much. Great place to take the family for a weekend. Staff working there very friendly and helpful as well. We’re already planning a trip back!

Such a cool place. Was quiet and serene when we visited. Looks like it could get busy based on the trails and picnic tables. Has a kids play area with equipment. Lots of space for physical activities, and friends/family outings. Did I say it was serene!

A short drive from Edmonton. I've come here throughout the year except in Winter. I'm not much of a highway driver when there's snow on the ground. The park changes with the seasons and it is glorious. In the Summer, bring a picnic lunch and have it on the beach. This is one of the few places in the province where you can actually find a working pay phone. Too cute for words.

went for two nights . it was a good camping site. Loop A is bit crowded though. Neat and clean shower room and pit toilets . Nice playground . Good for biking and hiking . The lake looks beautiful but isnt good for anything else .. too salty and stinky with lot of bird carcasses on the beach trail.

Love that it's close to Edmonton. Has running (non-potable) water in the washrooms with showers. Cannot swim in the lake but plenty of walking trails. Overall a good spot for a weekend camp trip if you don't feel like driving very far.

Wonderful campground located only 45 minutes away from Edmonton. Lots of wildlife, especially birds to see for the nature enthusiasts. The park is very walkable with most amenities wheelchair accessible. The playgrounds are spread around and good for young kids. I have good memories growing up of taking out the adventure kits from the park interpretive center, which they still offer to this day: bug catching, pond creature catching and others.

Beautiful campsite, nice trails and beach. Lots of wildlife. We saw tons of birds, a few beavers, a squirrel and a little frog. The bathrooms we used were clean. They had trail maps at the visitor centre and some tents set up for dark sky viewing. Over all a wonderful campground and day use location.

Nothing to complain. The park and the campground are very well maintained. The washrooms and the shower place are amazingly clean. My son already planned to go there again this summer and next year. Love this place.

This is a fairly large provincial park. It is heavily developed with facilities. There is a massive parking lot for day use visitors. There are hundreds of camping spaces, powered sites, washrooms, showers, paved trails and a gift shop. There are also 7 group camping sites that can be rented for larger gatherings. The beach area is OK but the lake is not for swimming. No fish either. Camp sites are decent with some separation from your neighbors and lots of room. Camping is a bit pricey at 28 - 36 dollars per night. No wood is supplied you have to buy that or bring it along. I camped here mid week in mid September and it was very peaceful as few people were using the park. Bring a bike if you like to ride as trails are fun to ride on.
