A fantastic, big, quiet and beautiful campground. It's not for swimming, but is a great place to bring your bikes, as there are miles of paved paths. Beautiful bathrooms and showers, lots of green space to bring your own toys to play. Make sure to check this place out!

Great camping experience, staff were nice and friendly. Clean. Got to see a shooting star with a decent amount of other stars. I would rate The Dark Knight as a must see.

Very quiet and nice place. All offices are closed due to early spring, but nice spent quality time with family and loved ones. Need more work done. Also, a good look after this place could be a great option for Elk Island.

I want SO badly to give this a 5/5. We rented a yurt and it was amazing! It's very cozy inside, love being able to have a fridge. The table and chairs were super sturdy and the table was big enough for food and board games! The actual campsite was great, very nice to be surrounded by trees. We used both the picnic table and the benches by the fire. The BBQ was great to have, we cooked in the fire and on that. Honestly it was an excellent experience, it's a beautiful area and the bird watching was great too! The day use area is also very nice. I do highly recommend it! The one missing star is because of the beds. oh my god the beds were awfullllll. I did not sleep one minute all night and my partner slept very fitfully, they were squishy but weirdly firm at the same time, and lumpy in some places that had us unable to find a comfortable position. We will probably rent a yurt again but this time we're bringing air mattresses!!

We were well received by the receptionist, she answered all the questions we had and give us the best information that she had. She was very friendly, the campground was great.

Bathrooms are really nice and taken care of and there is plenty of walking trails. However, the beach isn't the nicest and the water is generally good enough to swim in.

Great campground. The spots are very private and it's quiet. Yurts are well equipped with everything you could need. Even coffee and ac this year. Just bring food and sleeping bags.

Amazing place to take young kids. The lake is not good to swim in die to bacteria but there are numerous parks and play sets. Large sites and A60 has full hook-ups at the time of this review. Extensive pathways throughout, and a very nice visitor center with planned activities for the family also put on by the park. Very peaceful location.
