If you ain't here already, don't show up. These are salt of the Earth people and I would live here, but expect suspicion not open arms. You would be safe to stay here with your family and it's a fine enough place. It's not fancy. It's a little man made prairie lake where farm folk gather between planting and harvesting. I think that they would help you no matter what, but accepting you into this community would take some years. Good luck.
