Situated just north of Clinton, Iowa, the park is nestled within the lush Upper Mississippi River Valley. The surrounding landscape features dense greenery and expansive, unobstructed views of the water. Visitors can relax while watching the rhythmic passage of river barges and local wildlife. The park's proximity to the Mississippi River Flyway makes it a premier destination for bird enthusiasts, especially during migrations when bald eagles are frequently spotted.

A nice quiet place for a picnic, rustic camping, or to put the boat in for some fishing. There's a playground for the kids and a restroom. The road getting there is a bit out of the way, a plus if you're looking for something quiet. If you want a view of the River and the Mississippi Valley, you'll probably be better off going to Eagle Point Park a ways down the road.

Nice area on the Mississippi River. Small campground with limited services, it was closed for the season in Nov when we were there. Nice boat landing was available with parking. There's also a picnic area right along the river.

A very nice stop for the night with vault toilets and water. The only down side was the train rolling by and blasting it's horn in the wee morning hours.

If you want to fish it looks like a great place to lose your lure from the banks. You need a good fishing boat to give this a good experience. It's out of the way, quiet and has a nice campground.
