Nice quiet campground, clean restrooms, helpful park rangers, pretty fall colors when the leaves are turning.

It said big rig friendly, our spot was really tight. My sister told me about the Indian burial ground then I read it in a review that it was paved over. That is very sad. For this reason I will be staying here again.

Stayed here for a few weeks in the fall of 2020. Really nice campground lots. Plenty of space for trailer and vehicle. Clean and the commodities are wonderful. Clean bathrooms and showers. Helpful staff. Lots of room for kids to run, play and ride bikes. Quiet at night. There's a beach, a couple of playgrounds and lots of accessible fishing spots from shore. Highly recommend!

I pondered writing this review because I do not want others to know how good this place is. I will almost never get another reservation here if everybody know how good of a place this is. The spot we had was great. We were here in a 39 foot motorhome and had plenty of room for the unit along with two cars in the spot we rented. I recommend this place for great camping.

This is one of those places where you don't want to write a review because you want it to yourself. Fewer camping site compared to the other Army Corps Dam and campgrounds. Truly adored this place. Tucked into trees you would never know your just a few miles from the highway. Loved it here.
