We stayed in one of the cabins for several days. Absolutely charming place! The staff was amazing and so very helpful. Jan was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The grounds were meticulously kept. Access to the town and shopping was great and you had no idea how close it was. Couldn’t hear the traffic at all! Would love to come back!

From the bank gain of our trip on the property, we enjoyed great service from all associates from the front desk to the people on the property, helping us with hook ups, advice, and making us stay comfortable. It was a great park with lots of amenities so we enjoyed. Thanks to the cooks who made us breakfast And the people who escorted us and took care of our the needs. Great staff. Look forward to returning.

We were frankly flabbergasted by the charm, cleanliness, and friendliness of the campground and staff. When traveling in our class B Sprinter we often just stealth camp but decided to stay here while driving to a family wedding to relax in a central location in Missoula. Reading other reviews this campground seemed a safe bet. Although close to the “main drag” of Reserve, it was surprisingly quiet and insulated from the nearby bustle. We were given a tent site which was lovely, a grassy spot with level gravel drive to park on, within easy walking distance to either of two nearby clean and functional showers/restrooms. Although we didn’t bring our dog on this trip, the campground is very dog friendly with dog parks as well as some sites featuring built in outdoor pens. The area is very walkable and easy to find standard chain restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. After visiting with neighbors we had a wonderful nights sleep with windows open. In the morning, we were surprised to receive an invitation to a complimentary breakfast which was a great touch, hosted by friendly staff. We continued on our journey refreshed and well fed which is always a wonderful thing. Will definitely stay again when our travels take us through the western part of the state.

The friendly staff goes the extra mile by providing a hearty free breakfast buffet each morning. I also appreciated the little touches including blow dryers in the women’s bathroom. The staff, extra touches, and great amenities made our day!

Bismarck KOA great. Billings, Montana KOA wonderful. Great Falls, Montana KOA amazing! West Glacier KOA amazing and gorgeous! Missoula KOA not great! We checked in on 8/12/2025 around 3:26pm and we understand checkout on 8/13 is 11:00 am. Unfortunately, my husband had a meeting at 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and we asked if we can stay a little longer. Joyce at the front office said No. We offer to pay for. 1/2 of day. Joyce said No and told us that we need to pay an additional full day rate for the extra 2 1/2 hours. I do not think this is fair. We told Joyce we will be leaving on 8/13/2025 headed to Yellowstone KOA and told her not to touch our reservations. Joyce upset me, she was not nice and not accommodating to our needs. We left before 2:00 pm and Missoula KOA can still rent site C02. Joyce is the reason I rated Missoula KOA a one. We love KOA and we have been traveling around the United States. This was a bad experience.

Great KOA possibly the best KOA, that everyone should look up when in Missoula the cabins are kept immaculate, safety patrol, pool very clean and well kept, the store is well stocked, and the staff second to none, the owners have had the KOA for decades , family owned. Please look up this gem in the middle of Missoula.

The customer service of this KOA need improvement. We arrived and the office was closed so we called the number posted. We were told to pick a site and they would be by later to do our registration. At this point they did not ask any questions about our set up. We have a full camping set up in our 4Runner. This has not been an issue at any other KOA or campsite. 1.5 hours later, our site is set up and fire started, Brian comes by and tells us car camping is not allowed and we need to leave. He was very kind and we understand that he was just following the rules. This rule is not posted anywhere online or in person. At this point, it was dark outside, beginning to snow, and the roads icy. We had to pack everything up and venture out into the dangerous roads to find somewhere else to stay. On the way out we asked for the managers phone number. She called me back the same evening, and even offered to make an exception for our stay but at this point we had already checked into a hotel. It was too late for us to change our plans again. It would have saved us time and money if this rule was posted or if the employees could show a little grace and compassion. Here is an idea: Post ‘no car camping’ on your website!
