It was our first venture to a GA. State Park and Mistletoe was a great start. The weather was great along with the water it was a little chilly but refreshing. If the rest of the parks in GA are as nice as Mistletoe we can't wait to visit a lot more.

One of our favorite camping spots. Sites are clean and relatively level. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Plenty of places to pull your boat up and all campers are great about sharing the beach areas. Great fishing and swimming, some hiking trails are still closed due to damage from hurricane Helene. Park programs are interesting and fun, kids love the playground. Great experience!

Clean and well kept park north of Atlanta. Boat ramp with plenty of parking and a swimming area nearby. Even has an archery area. A parking fee is required but I have the year pass for every park in the state so you just hang it on your mirror. Good experience, would go back.

Overall, it was a good hike. Due to Hurricane Helenea and lack of resources & help to clean up, it was to be expected. I am an advocate for green jobs, and if you love the outdoors, it's still worth the hike and anything dealing with water activities.

Beautiful views and we loved having a waterfront site. The floors of the bathrooms were absolutely filthy and appeared to not have been cleaned for a very long time. The overall cleanliness of the bathrooms left a lot to be desired. I have tent camped all my life in GA state parks and these have to be some of the nastiest bath house floors I have encountered. There was a mound of soiled washcloths in one of the stalls that weren't cleaned during our 3 night stay. A good hose off with some bleach would work wonders in the bathrooms. Overall, we had a great time and the 24 hour kayak rentals were awesome. Our site had a small "beach" area where the kids could play which was so convenient and they had a great time. We also went to the main beach area which was nice and had very clean bathrooms.

This park was breathtakingly beautiful. The park rangers were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend giving this hidden jewel a try!!

Pretty lake! Stayed here in a regular cabin and the fisherman’s cabin. Great prices! Fisherman’s cabin had a private dock for fishing but the cabin wasn’t as nice as the other cabins.

Great state park. I would've given it 5 stars if the campsites were full hook up. The sites were very nice, mostly level, well maintained and clean. I wish SC state parks were this well maintained and affordable. We will definitely be back.

We had a nice 2 night stay at the park. We tent camped on the lake. It was very windy. Took a 3 mile hike on one of the trails & a 2 hr Kayak paddle. Our site power unit was out & fixed by park maintenance. The brisk wind made cooking a challenge.

It was absolutely gorgeous!! You can rent a beach house for the day for $120! The beach house was huge, clean, and air conditioned with a full kitchen, two refrigerators, two grills, public restrooms, seating on the deck and in the shade under it, with its own beach area, playground, and volleyball net. The beach was clean, and the water felt wonderful.
