We camped here at a site close to the lake with an exclusive mini trail to the beach. Quite and peaceful night. The wave just sounded like music. The view was gorgeous and the beach was full of sheet rocks ideal for water skipping. We even found a fossil shell which seems not too surprising as the region is famous for fossil discovery (especially the dinosaur fossil!) It's definitely worth camping for at least two nights I think. I can stay at the beach for a whole day just for the view!

Great park that's well maintained. Lots of trees to block your neighbours. Lots of sites that are lake front. Big gazebo in day use area for social gatherings and a new kids' park going in. Pit toilets are some of the cleanest I've seen. A fair distance from most places so pretty quiet. Park Staff is super friendly and helpful.
