We camped here in B loop site 25 over Memorial Day weekend. The site was FHU with a level concrete pad for the RV. Each site has a concrete picnic table and very large concrete fire pit. That’s where all the good things about this campground end. There are burrs, goose poop, trash and spiders everywhere. Tent campers are allowed to reserve FHU RV sites, and many do. The campground does NOT enforce the 6 person per campsite rule, so the tent campers easily infringe on others campsites and are constantly walking through others’ campsites. When asked about the tents in RV sites, the staff at the campground entrance shack stated “We do not discriminate”, which clearly contributes to the chaos and issues of the campground. The staff at the entrance shacks are rude and incompetent. There is absolutely NO enforcement of quiet hours. Other campers keep their music loud and the party going all night, every night. They literally never turned it down and were blasting it like they were at the club… 12am, 2am, 4am, 6am… ALL NIGHT. My kids and I couldn’t get a good night sleep because of it. This is not a true family campground. It invites all the wrong elements, because they don’t enforce the rules. A majority of the campers are drunk, loud and not following any of the campground rules. There is no one cleaning any of the campsites before the next camping group arrives, so expect dirty campsites. This is not relaxing camping. It’s just non-stop loud music and partying. I would NEVER recommend this campground to people I actually like, and will never be returning.

A really beautiful and peaceful place for a weekend getaway. It's perfect for swimming and kayaking. I’ve been there twice, and both times were very enjoyable.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the quiet time is not being enforced. Quiet time is from 10pm-6am but our neighbors have been blasting their music, talking loudly while drinking, and it is now close to 2am and they are still going at it…I couldn’t sleep from all the noise so here I am writing my review, this negative experience. It really sucks because I brought my family along, and the kids were excited too, to have some fun at this place. But we can’t even get some decent sleep—-some peace and quiet. We are disappointed. It’s our first night here. Debating if we should cut our stay shorter. We definitely won’t be coming back to this place.

Camp sites are fully packed with people with no proper rules enforcement, loud music played non stop. I have to scout for places that are good for playing in water as some places have stagnant murky waters. Look for the shaded camp sites if you are going for tent camping with kids as temperature in summer days hits above 100. Nearby shopping a.k.a gas stations are within 10 mins. You get a picnic bench and a fire pit for all sites. Electricity and water are optional and specific to the camp site. Campfire is allowed, bring firewood. Fishing allowed in all areas, saw some people catching catfish. No pets. Restrooms are horrible and not clean, try to find the camping loop with less crowd and go for it 😀. Water time is the best of all.

What a nice campground with water being so close is awesome. Be aware of spiders and fruit Flys, and watch out for those geese . Having access to bathrooms and a shower is nice. But the shower is really hot.

Great for outdoor picnic, group outing, barbeque meetings and kids recreational activities. Fun and great spot meeting new friends.

Nice place to camp. I recommend booking further into grounds and reserve along A loop to avoid congestion and side by side tents from other campers. Campers may arrive late into the night. The showers and bathrooms are fairly clean and the camp grounds are clean as well. The water is low in some areas but deeper swimming waters are not too far away from each camp. A-loop site has water and electricity for hook up.

Beautiful sunset and relaxing view. Water is very chilled and a good spot for family summer time get away. Only thing is …there are many garbages or left over plastic materials on the campsites and on the lake. Restroom is oki, but needs extra cleaning and lights. Too many many many many flies and spidersssss. My tent, table, cooler, chairs and sandals are full of spiders 🕷 and their webs in the morning. Need to deep clean from inside out for 1 night. 😢 Well…cannot expect too much for $50 per campsite/night + $35 per vehicle right!!??

Staff is so horrifically awful they make me wish there was a god so he would smite them. Seriously, avoid this place at all costs. You're better off camping in the middle of nowhere.

This place has a beautiful view of the water with alot of picnic BBQ pits and tables. A good place to bring family and kids. Has boat launch and fishing is allowed. Although this reservoir is occasionally stocked, there was no luck in fishing.
