Will start off by saying I have never written a review but felt strongly enough after cutting a 2 day booked trip to only 1 day that it was necessary. Yes, you read that right. Paid for 2 days but left after 1 night because of how negative the experience was. First, don’t book a riverfront tent spot and especially not spot #60 unless you like to attempt to stake your tent in gravel. There isn’t grass…you’re paying an increased premium to camp in a small gravel driveway that just happens to be in front of the river. Second, there is no enforced quiet time. Supposed to be at 11pm but there was screaming and yelling and loud music up until nearly 4am. There were even people jumping into and tubing down the river from 1am-4am who obviously had been drinking adult beverages all day. Don’t plan morning activities because you will not get an ounce of sleep. Next, bring Vaseline and lube your rear quarters if you need to buy anything from the camp store. You’ll be paying quadruple what the item would be in a dollar store or walmart. Next, wife wanted to shower after being kept up all night and there was no hot/warm water in the women’s bathroom. The men’s showers ended up being fine. The next issue is we couldn’t even get into our campsite because several trailers used to collect tubes and canoes were parked right in front of our camp spot. When we let the workers know we were camped right there we were told we had to drive all the way around the campground and come in through the back. In closing, it was a complete waste of $120 that was spent for a 2 night stay that turned into a 1 night stay. Also, ignore their “free wifi” claim. It only works if you’re inside the camp store.

I have been coming here for about 9 years and my husband and his friends years before that! We absolutely love it here!!! Its beautiful and peacful! We always stay next to the water the sites are a little rougher but its expected next to the water other sites up hill are very nice and flat...but we come for the river! The staff is always friendly and pleasant haven't had an issue of rude staff in past 9 years! We have a great time! The Dj on saturday is great the band on Fridays are amazing! We love it here its become a yearly adult vacation tradition for us!

Employees were great at the desk. Having been camping through my entire life I feel I know each campground is a little different. But, I have never been to a campground where other people camping have had so little disregard for everyone else around them. We constantly had people walking through the middle of our campsite paying no attention or have a care in the world that they were on our site. Multiple campsite around us blaring music until roughly 3-4am, and no one from the campground asked them turn it down. Obviously the quiet hours that should begin at 11pm are not enforced. Sunday morning 4/5 toilets were completely clogged until roughly 10am. Like I said, I’ve been camping all my life and I’m totally used to people playing music softly and talking around the fire into wee hours of the night, but this was out of control. I brought it up to the desk a few times and it doesn’t seem as though anything was done about it.

Let me start off with the positives. The overall cleanliness of the grounds and the views of the tree covered hills around you were beautiful. The staff in the store were to the point and got us what we needed. Now on to the places where they can improve . There were ZERO quiet hours enforced the first night. Music was played throughout the tent camping area until 4AM and it only stopped because a storm rolled through. There obviously is no night watch there or they were cozy in their beds that evening. The female restroom was completely clogged up (every toilet) Sunday morning and that was before the office opened so the girls had to do their business elsewhere. Lastly for having river activities they seemed ill prepared to deal with the amount of customers they had. It was an hour and a half after we signed up to leave that a van finally picked us up. This could be an AMAZING place but the owners need to start taking control. I would try it again in the future and I hope they can make improvements in the meantime.

My family and I have camped here a few times. It is a beautiful place and the staff was friendly. I do not recommend going if your wanting to enjoy a peaceful relaxing camping trip. There is a seasonal camper right behind a cabin, next to site 251, they BLARE their music all night. There are signs for quiet time 11pm-9am being "enforced", it is NOT! You could feel and hear the music in the camper from sites away. There are signs for 5mph "enforced ", it is not. All day and night carts and vehicles fly past. Golf carts with systems, blaring their music at all times. There were drunk people, from that seasonal site and another site, fighting until 2am, and even had one of them come to our campsite, and sit in one of our chairs. Overall not a pleasant weekend and will not return there.

Pat’s cabin…. NO!!! Now I know why photos weren’t posted on their website! It’s NOT a cabin, it’s a SHED! It’s just plywood as the entire thing! It’s not sealed, not finished, no ventilation besides 2 small windows the size of an 8x10 photo! They had to be propped up! The bugs from the shed not being finished, the hot box, the broken door, etc. we stayed ONE night out of 3! The spot itself was beautiful, but the unfinished pile of wood they call a cabin that was easily 30 degrees hotter and having bugs crawl all over your food, bedding, etc was NASTY! I had better luck in a tent! Definitely not worth the money and I’m APPALLED they rent that thing out!!

My favorite place to camp. Wish the sites were a tiny bit bigger but overall I love this campground

Horrible experience. Not for families. Neighbors took our picnic table, electric, and tried to set up an extra tent on our site. It was like we had to fight for what we reserved. Friends camping with us cancelled their reservation on the way down because management changed their site to a less desirable one away from us without even contacting them. Smelled of pot and loud past quiet hours. Teens had a mud battle and got all over our chairs. Told them to clean up and only one was respectful. It’s a shame because this place could be truly awesome.

Great experience!! Site #43 Over-looking the River...Our first weekend camping here on Labor Day Weekend. Rafting, Canoeing, BBall court & Entertainment area at night, plenty to do. May wanna consider WiFi setup for guest....it'll help eliminate the crowded area infront of the general store/office. Overall we enjoyed our stay!🏕

We had 2 primitive spots on the river. The spots were very spacious and shaded. We had 9 adults and 5 kids and still had a ton of room. Being in the river was nice for the kids to have easy access to okay in the water. Be warned, the closest restroom was an outhouse that stunk pretty bad! It was kept as clean as possible and stocked with toilet paper. They do have flush toilets and showers but they were about a 5 minute walk. We rented rafts through them. Decently priced for the area and we ended at our campsite which was convenient.
