Off the beaten path but no freeway noise. Office closes at 2 on Sundays. Info was left for us in mailbox. Park is easy to navigate. Appears there are more long termers/seasonals but spots are well kept. Mostly large 5th wheels. We agree with a previous reviewer that it looks more like a subdivision than a campground. Mid October the temps range in the mid 80's and evenings low 60's. Small dog park. 5 night stay, Site #C7, 70 ‘ x 15’ concrete pad with a spacious grassy area that was well maintained. It took a bit to get level and didn’t get fully leveled but close enough. Power pedestal in good shape, looks like a lighthouse. We usually keep our water regulator at 40 and it got close but not to 40. The sewer is located near the front of the site. We had to use an extender. Personal T-Mobile home internet: 185 down, 30 up. It is a nice place, we would stay here again. The only disappointment was there were no water views. Everything else was great.

We came here in December of 2024 with the intention of staying 30 days. So much for that plan. We love it so much we just signed another year lease. The Park is AMAZING! paved roads and sites, great yards, nice pool, great clubhouse and restrooms/private showers, laundry facilities. Easy access to the lake just walking distance away with great fishing on the Terra Maranda point. Easy access to the golf cart trail and many wonderful restaurants and lounges on Monkey Island. Lots to do activities. The staff and Management are over the top helpful. The full time residents are more like family/friends. We are Blessed to call MONKEY ISLAND RV PARK HOME!

We have made Monkey Island our summer retreat home away from home this summer. We have stayed from June to leaving in October :) We have a giant camper and have loved our little spot of heaven. Always clean and our kids love their little park. If you have any issues they are quick to fix it. I have grown to love the workers there! They have become friends. They are so attentive, kind and make being there worth it. Truth be told they are the only reasons we stayed so long. Sam and Jay are freaking amazing (Thanks Sam, Jay, Xander, Lori and Travis for the amazing summer!!) as with any place you can’t always have everything in one little spot so we docked our boat a few miles down the road so we could fish and what not from there. Honestly I didn’t want to be right on the lake due to having little kids so it was perfect. My daughter turned 3 here and my son started to walk!

Absolutely beautiful park! Concrete drive throughs, nice grassy areas that are well trimmed, pet friendly, quiet, other guests are very friendly with one another, kid friendly with a pool. The service was great too! Thank you Samantha and Jeremy Beard for making my family feel at home while we were there and making our stay even more unforgettable!

Bathrooms/showers are fantastic just not a lot of them, no lake access at all. Dog park is a joke , it’s not any bigger than an outdoor kennel. If you want grand lake access and don’t have a boat don’t stay here you will have to drive to Disney or Grove. Pictures of Disney little blue park

Down to earth relaxing close to everything they treat you like family. I definitely be coming here again and I’d recommend you come here and stay.

We found this place when the weather changed our camping plans at the last minute. Luckily we were able to get a night in one of their cabins. We were really impressed with Monkey Island, it's clean, the location near the lake is fantastic, it's quiet. Great amenities and the customer service was absolutely top notch. We plan to go back again soon for a weekend to really experience the place. We saw that they are expanding and will have tiny homes and modular homes available to own at some point and that just sounds fantastic, we will definitely be checking into that as well as we were already talking about getting a place near the lake.

This is an amazing RV park. The woman in the office is so sweet and helpful. The roads are wide, the sites are beautiful. The sites are concrete and has a concrete patio with picnic table on it. Tons of green space as well for you to enjoy. Pool is nice, playground is nice. Everything is super clean. The only thing that keeps it from getting a 5 star review is the neighbor. One bad person can ruin an entire experience.

My family and I spent the first part of our vacation here in our rented RV and 10/10 I will recommend!!!! Everything about this place went above and beyond what we were expecting. The RV spots were easily identified and accessible, the restrooms and coin op laundry areas were always clean and super cold compared to the outside heat, the swimming pool on site is perfect for a small night swim before finally getting out of the water for the day, and the staff is excellent in helping or guiding you to anything you may need. If you are looking for a nice place with no bugs and real grass with a side of modern amenities this is the perfect place for you! Thank you Travis and all of your staff in helping make our vacation easy, simple and best of all relaxing!!!

We had a good night sleep in the tiny home! It was very well accommodating and my grand kids loved the loft and the play area ! I would recommend this RV park !

Park looks fairly new with all concrete, level pads and grassy area in between. Dog run is small, but has big shade trees and gets the job done. We enjoyed the pool and the playground as well. It is fairly tight with little shade at the sites, but if you are planning on spending most of the day at the lake, it’s a very nice place to set up. Would definitely return!
